1inStripes Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 As long as they aren't playing someone from the SEC, I guess OSU has a chance.............but not a good one. Texas 48 tOSU 13 Quote
Super User burleytog Posted January 5, 2009 Super User Posted January 5, 2009 Was OSU ever a 'national powerhouse'? Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 5, 2009 Super User Posted January 5, 2009 I just hope Texas doesn't wait until the second half to let everyone play. 8-) Quote
Daniel A. Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Did Tressel change the entrance code to the athletic facility to the final score of last year's National Championship game? Did he have a motivational DVD put together in hopes to fire up the boys? Will he have any coaching surprises up his sleeve? I'm not sure Tressel has it in him to win a big bowl game anymore. Quote
BUCKEYEone Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 quick someone delete this thread. If after the past couple bitter-ending seasons, why in the holy crap would you get cocky before the game even starts???? Do what the rest of us are doing....Pray, hope, and pray again that the Bucks come out and play like they do throughout the season, rather than showing up NOT ready to play...AGAIN. Quote
Troutfisher Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 ;D ;D ;D : :-? ;D : I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I saw this reply. ;D Quote

Super User Dan: Posted January 6, 2009 Super User Posted January 6, 2009 It won't even be a game. The score should be like that of OU/TT. I thought so too until I saw the Texas Tech-Ole Miss game. Who knows. Quote
The Unabasser Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Texas better pull it out of their....well u know...see what happens in the 2nd...right now OSU is way outplaying your so awesome Horns had not made a post in forever so I thought why not now Quote
BUCKEYEone Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 OSU is playing better than they have in past bowl games, but I see some halftime changes for both teams that could really change this game. I'm enjoying it, go BUCKS! Quote
The Unabasser Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 here comes the bad ref calls...this game is gonna change....really I don't like OSU (cause I'm a Big Blue Fan (shutup lol )but dislike Texas even more...sorry no worry's...I'll wait til Thursday for the big one : Quote
Super User BrianinMD Posted January 6, 2009 Super User Posted January 6, 2009 Well looks like OSU realized they were in a bowl game at halftime..... Quote
The Unabasser Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 ya i hear ya Brian... i've had enough after the last bunch of 3 and outs (where did the dillweeds go at halftime?....to smoke or what)...will save my projector bulb and my 100 inch screen for another time like Trace Adkins says "shut my mouth slap my ******" Quote
Fisher of Men Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 here comes the bad ref calls...this game is gonna change....really I don't like OSU (cause I'm a Big Blue Fan (shutup lol )but dislike Texas even more...sorry no worry's...I'll wait til Thursday for the big one : The calls always go Texas' way, especially in the 2nd half. :-X Is it me, or does Fox stink at broadcasting a bowl game? How many plays have we missed while watching these nobody commentators breaking down a simple play? I also believe that I could count the fringe on the Longhorn band's uniforms by now, too. : Quote
Super User Dan: Posted January 6, 2009 Super User Posted January 6, 2009 Yeah, I was just talking with my brother about how much I hate the fact that Fox avoids college football all year and then buy all the BCS bowl games and then get NFL guys to do pregame analysis and no name goons to call the game. This is ending up to be a pretty good game. I think OSU should run Pryor more. I know they are trying to get him to get better at being a pocket passer but you can't neglect his ridiculous running skills. Quote
The Unabasser Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 another joke goes down in history goodnight irene Quote
Super User Dan: Posted January 6, 2009 Super User Posted January 6, 2009 That was a lot closer than I thought. Very different than what we've seen all year from Texas. I'm curious to see the final rankings at the end of the season. With that weak win might Texas get leaped by Utah and/or USC? Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 6, 2009 Super User Posted January 6, 2009 Just showed that maybe the BCS is right and Texas should not have been in the title game. Quote
