Super User Tin Posted December 30, 2008 Super User Posted December 30, 2008 I'm sick of going to doctors offices so I figured I would ask.... So the past couple of weeks I have been throwing up a lot. (No Burley and Bizz not just in the morning). So I have been watching what I eat and writing things down to try to figure out what is making me sick. So the results from the past couple days... Eating cheesecake a few hours after Christmas dinner resulting in praying to the porcelain... Then pancakes and skim milk in my hot coffee the next morning... Scrambled eggs (Girl used milk and cheese) Spaghetti in Alfredo sauce Buffalo tenders with Bleu Cheese So I'm beginning to think I'm Lactose Intolerant. But I can't believe that it could just occur like snapping your fingers. Any ideas or anyone else ever have this sort of issue? I took a Lactaid pill before eating the bleu cheese tonight and it didn't help. :-/ I can't wait for 08 to end..... Quote

Super User burleytog Posted December 30, 2008 Super User Posted December 30, 2008 Like I told you, you've OD'd on milk. Quote
Fish Man Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 This may be off, but possibly Salmonella? I had it when i was a kid and it took us forever to figure it out but around the time i started getting sick they were testing me to see if i was lactose intolerant. But i guess this may come down to whether or nt you get sick after everything or just after a few meals. Quote
Super User Sam Posted December 30, 2008 Super User Posted December 30, 2008 Same thing has just happened to my wife. All of a sudden her stomach was turning over. We looked at what she was eating and sure enough, dairy products. She went to a doctor and had some tests done and the docs said it was irritated bowl syndrome. We do not agree. We think it is dairy products. So do what we did. Eliminate all diary for two weeks and see what happens. Upset stomachs can be symptoms of other issues so please see your family physician or an internist. DO NOT WAIT. MY MOTHER-IN-LAW HAD THE SAME SYMPTOMS AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE COLON CANCER. Good luck. Quote
Super User Muddy Posted December 30, 2008 Super User Posted December 30, 2008 First off you and your buddy 4 bizz are just plain intolerant of just about anything Those are all fat loaded foods, you should tell your doctor, could also be a problem with high fat foods, and you should have your blood sugar checked,as well as you lactose tolerance looked at. Super User Marty Posted December 31, 2008 Super User Posted December 31, 2008 My wife is lactose intolerant. I don't know the range of symptoms, but with her, it goes right through her, she's never thrown up from it. Taking Lactaid is no guarantee, it depends on the degree of intolerance and the type and quantity of dairy product consumed. I understand you're sick of doctors' offices, but you're hurting only yourself if you don't continue with it until the proper diagnosis is made. Good luck. Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted December 31, 2008 Super User Posted December 31, 2008 I'd throw up too if I had your physical attributes. Quote

ArcticCat500 Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Tramadol is an Opioid, but Im sure I didnt have to tell you all that, side affects can cause vommiting, seize all Trams for a few days and see what happens. I had taken these for a short time when I was trying to come clean from other PK's, they made me a little wheezy n pukey too...try it, it can only help. Good Luck Tin! Quote
