Super User Long Mike Posted December 1, 2008 Super User Posted December 1, 2008 Has anyone noticed that the only ONE of the Mods (ghoti) has elected to participate? Shall we shame them or let sleeping logs die? ;D If you're going to stir the pot at least have your facts straight Mike. ghoti is not a moderator, he is BR Staff. So, as of right now the count for participating BR Staff is 1, the count for BR Staff/moderators is ZERO. I'll be in by the 5th Well, EXCUUUUUSE ME! I didn't know that rank was so important among the BR Staff. I guess Ghoti is the Private, Glenn is the General and all you other guys are Colonels. BTW, glad you are going to participate in the exchange. If you draw my name please do not send a lump of coal. My fireplace is gas-fired. Quote

Super User Muddy Posted December 4, 2008 Super User Posted December 4, 2008 Hey Dan, Hook him up with Redliner, He may have a shot at his boat Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 4, 2008 Super User Posted December 4, 2008 Just don't hook me up with Muddy. I gave him a Shimano and he is still fishing Floogers. I don't know what he would do with GYCB soft plastics, but it wouldn't be pretty! ;D ;D Quote

Super User Long Mike Posted December 5, 2008 Super User Posted December 5, 2008 The last time I gave Muddy a pack of GYCB baits he put them between a couple of slices of Semolina bread and ate them. Quote

Super User Dan: Posted December 8, 2008 Super User Posted December 8, 2008 Alright, I just sent out 30 private messages. Every participant should have received a PM with the name and address of the member you are to buy a gift for. If you signed up and have not received an assignment or you have questions, please PM me ASAP! Quote
Super User Dan: Posted December 8, 2008 Super User Posted December 8, 2008 Now that everyone has their assignments: Please keep your assignment a secret. I think it's much more fun if the recipients don't find out who got them their gift until they open it. That being said, please include a note with your username with your present so that the recipient will know who got it for them. I will make a thread on Christmas day for everyone to post pictures of what they got from who. Quote
FR0G Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 I need a 9" blemished lunker punker in delta shiner or chartreuse shad, hint hint. Or some 8" huddlestons, or a bunch of 3/4 ounce football jigs in brown/purple. Quote

Or some 8" huddlestons, or a bunch of 3/4 ounce football jigs in brown/purple. on a side note, I was going to order one of those blemished punkers until I saw that Black Dog is going to release molded plastic versions for a cheaper price. Super User Dan: Posted December 8, 2008 Super User Posted December 8, 2008 I'm sure wood has its advantages, but I am hoping the plastic is a bit lighter so my current setup will be able to throw it. Quote
FR0G Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 The 8 inch felt lighter, but I saw a post where are guy stated they weigh the same. I will still get one, but still want a wood too. Quote
