simplejoe Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 I can't believe only 30 members signed up for the exchange out of 15000. Sorry guys I'm a little behind power outage at the store for the whole weekend (bad on business) I tried to come on with my wife's Blackberry over the weekend that was no fun > I had more problems than it was worth. I realized the exchange is harder than I thought, buying for somone you have no idea what they fish with lures,line,etc.etc. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted December 10, 2008 Super User Posted December 10, 2008 simplejoe, do what I did last year. If you live near a Bass Pro, Academy or other sports outlet, find out if your recipient lives near one also. Then send him a gift card. It may seem a little impersonal, but you can't go wrong with the gift. Unfortunately for me, this year I have drawn a recipient who does not live near any of the sports chain stores, and I categorically refuse to buy someone a gift card from WalMart. So, I will send a gift composed of something I would like to receive. Quote
IDbasser Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Since I do not live near any sporting goods places , I ordered and had it sent to the person who I got. I looked at some of the older posts from this person to see what to order. Quote
TheBeast Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Well I would have loved to have gotten in on this. I just now saw the thread and checked it. Quote

Super User burleytog Posted December 16, 2008 Super User Posted December 16, 2008 He did a horrible job. Pairing me, an avowed hater of all things BPS, with someone who shops at BPS. The nerve of some people... Quote
Super User Dan: Posted December 16, 2008 Super User Posted December 16, 2008 Burley, just be glad I didn't accept certain bribes that were offered to pair you with even worse.... 8-) Thanks fellas, so far only one hiccup in the exchange. Hopefully on Christmas we have 30 happy participants. Quote
