Boogey Man Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 $100 Bass Pro Shops gift card but the best gift was my oldest brother who's 44 just had a tumor and about 10 inches of his colon removed. The doctors were afraid it was cancer but it turned out to be fatty tumor, no cancer. He got to come home from the hospital Christmas Eve. After he recovers from the surgery he should be good as new Quote
Branuss04 Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Most of the family and friends revolted against my fishing addiction, so the only fishing related item I got was a $50 TW gift card and a vice to start tying jigs. But I did just go and buy myself a G-Loomis/Chronarch Combo ;D . Cant wait for it to come!!!! Quote
jeremyt Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 My wife and kids got me a 7'2 carrot stick with a shimano cruxial and a assorted box of cranks ( some megabass) jigs and spinners. As an early Christmas present I got a 17 ft bass tracker a few weeks ago. My parents got me a shaw grigsby casting combo a zoom u tail worm kit, some spot removers and a tackle box. This was an outstanding Christmas for me I was truly overwhelmed. Jeremy Quote

The_Natural Posted December 27, 2008 Author Posted December 27, 2008 zillion flippin stick water proof boots 2 packs of jewel eakins craws 7.5 inch savagegear swimbait 4 packs of picasso fanatasy football jigheads 1 ounce pumkin round rubber 1 ounce purple round rubber 1 pack netcraft jigging spoon bodies 25 pack mustad trebles 1 black buckeye mop jig 1 pack black zoom super chunks 1 cabelas grave digger crank some socks and stuff like that there might be one or two more lures. Make sure you post a review in the rods and reels section. I own several zillions, but not the flippin' stick. Several of us are eyeballing it but I don't know anyone that has bought one yet. I bet it is a best, and could yank fish out of grass. I know the sensitivity will surprise you, but I want to know how the rod feels in the hand and if it balances. I hope it has a longer handle than the 7fters, it would need to help counter the extra length and power. Quote
bladeslinger Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 A Kistler LTA flippin stick and a nice CHARGERS hat. (Sorry Quinn, Broncos going down) Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted December 28, 2008 Super User Posted December 28, 2008 I can't believe this but I got nothing related to fishing for Christmas. All I wanted was a good set of cast iron Dutch Ovens, and that is exactly what I got. And my little brother got me a sweet Georgia Bulldog pull-over that I'll be wearing on the BR Roadtrip. Quote

The bad news--I got squat The good news- I didn't need anything, lol Being able to sleep for more than 4 hrs was a gift in itself though. Skunked in DR Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Those are great but my favorite gift was seeing the reaction on my daughters face (almost 3 years old) when she woke up and saw that Santa came! x 1 million. Put a totally new perspective on Christmas. Quote
