Bass XL Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Well I've had a great christmas, always do. I didn't get too much fishings stuff, 2 gift cards to BPS and a few lures. My top two gifts of the day were: Costa Del Mar Hammerhead's (white frames/blue mirror lenses) I've been looking at these through the display case for over a year, and my parents finally gave in. But that was pretty much all I got becuase of the price tag that came with them. Another good one was my Nike Oncore's. Either love em or hate em. I for one, love them. Quote

Thad Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Well I've been trying to get my own boat for awhile now. I wanted something I could take on some of the local small lakes and the New River. My dad has a nicer bass boat for the bigger lakes. My mom and her husband got me an old 1993 v-bottom with a 6 HP on it. Don't even no the make of it but it's perfect and can't wait to work on it. Needs a lot done to it but couldn't have asked for anything better. I was pretty shocked that I got it. I haven't really gotten anything since I graduated high school a few years ago. Still trying to get that tournament boat but this is more practical for me while I'm in college. Oh, and my girlfriend got me a few fishing dvds, along with some clothes. Quote
