Super User burleytog Posted September 15, 2008 Super User Posted September 15, 2008 This was nice... Ryan Braun, quoted from the Milwaukee JS blog... As if the sweep at the hands of the Phillies weren't bad enough, the Brewers retreated to the visiting clubhouse and watched Chicago's Carlos Zambrano put the finishing touches on a no-hitter against Houston at Miller Park. "They're probably drinking champagne and having in a beer shower right now in our locker room while we sulk about what happened here," said Braun. "It's ironic, where we're at as a team and how we feel at the end of this series and see them celebrating a no-hitter on our field. "The way things are going, it doesn't surprise me. It's almost fitting." Link to Mil. JS blog Quote

Poor shmoor, he recently signed a huge contract to stay in Seattle. A lot of sports writers were commenting on how it was a bit too much, even for Ichiro. Quote
