Cigarlover 1 Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 from what i've heard buccholz will most likely be the last pitcher in the starting rotation. or it could be Tavares. From what I've heard the Sox want to give Bucholz some time to warm up to pitching in the bigs. The only thing that worries me in that scenario is Tavares' unpredictability. He can be very inconsistent at times. But if Tavares pitching 5th is your biggest worry I guess you're not in too bad shape. ;D Quote
Masshole Mike Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 youk just signed a 1 year deal, too! BOOYAH! Quote

Guest muddy Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Hookem got a little anxious and put it up early , and this year I think it's great. With the exception of 3 deals the winter was quiet. Spring training and some early moves will really affect a lot of clubs, so the pennants are already in the cross hairs 8-) Quote

Boston fans think they done won their pennant! ;D The pennant doesn't matter as us New Englander's learned two weeks ago. Its about the last game of the year. Which will hopefully be in game 4 of the World Series. Anyone see Dice-K? It looks like he has a mohawk, it could be a mullet though. :-? Quote
Super User burleytog Posted February 14, 2008 Super User Posted February 14, 2008 FEAR FUKUDOME!!!! Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted February 15, 2008 Super User Posted February 15, 2008 FEAR FUKUDOME!!!! Not a chance. I'm really interested in how his numbers translate over to American ball. The trend for Japanese studs, minus a few, has not been favorable. The other day some yahoo had Fukudome listed as his ROY winner. He won't put up those kind of numbers. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted February 15, 2008 Super User Posted February 15, 2008 We'll just have to wait and see. I don't care for what we paid for him. Quote

llPa1nll Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Cmon guys layoff RedneckRiot27. He isnt a Red Sox fan, and he lives in Delaware. On second thought, continue away, I bet he is a O's fan too, how pathetic. Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted February 19, 2008 Super User Posted February 19, 2008 I was really excited to see which pitcher the Brewers were going to trade before the season started. But now with Yovanni Gallardo out for four weeks, I don't think a trade is all that likely. Bummer. The Crew is one of the few teams with a surplus of pitchers, starters at that. Quote

Guest muddy Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Hey Hookem, FORGET ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am very concerned about 2 things the Mets are avoiding, Bullpen: we lost most of our games, particularly in the death stretch in Sept AFTER THE 8th Inning; and they have not found a solid closer yet MARTINEZ: can not count on him for big games, now hes running his mouth. The guy stubs his toe and he's on the 15 day dl list Quote
llPa1nll Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 Id like to see a light at the end of the tunnel on whats exaclty going to come of Schillings injury/rehab situation. Other than that our team is looking just as solid as they did last year. Lets just hope they stay healthy. Quote
