Super User roadwarrior Posted December 21, 2008 Super User Posted December 21, 2008 Actually, this was a pretty good game through the middle of the 4th quarter. The key was keeping Big Ben contained. The Steelers seem to be a running game away from be a complete team. Maybe we'll have a rematch next month. Good luck in the meantime. Quote
mjhutch1116 Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 They would probably have a running game if they had a solid o line. It was a pretty good game till the 4th quarter. Matt Quote
Super User Tin Posted December 22, 2008 Super User Posted December 22, 2008 Back on the bandwagon ay.... ;D ...until they loose again. Quote
Jake. Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Back on the bandwagon ay.... ;D ...until they loose again. Hey, RW has to have something to cheer about after the Broncos couldn't close the deal. ;D The Chargers have got a chance for some payback. 8-) Quote
HOIST-N-HAWGS Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Pat's sneak in the back door Though your Titans looked very impressive Quote
bmadd Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I was at the game today 8-) It was pretty good. The Titans started to look very similar to the team that played at the beginning of the season. Jason Jones stepped up HUGE on the D line. Seems like every time Big Ben got hit he coughed up the ball. However, I think the steelers could have very easily won the game today IF Kerry Collins had not had a great day throwing the ball. As I've said all season, he is the deciding factor. He has to be able to complete passes to keep the linebackers from stacking up on the line. He did that most of the day but especially in the third. The Titans looked better today than they have all season if you ask me and that was without two of their better defensive players Quote
Mattlures Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 My Chargers will get revenge and blow out the donkeys by 20 points They will be dangerous heading into the playoffs Quote
Bassboss Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Never talk about the Steelers, that way! Titans Drool, Steelers Rule! Quote
Pitchinkid Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I know we alreay had our Super Bowl shot this decade, but DA BEARS are still alive for playoffs. ;D Quote
Daniel A. Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 For some reason, CBS in my neck of the woods decided to offer us paid programming instead of a football game that determined the top seed in the AFC along with home field advantage throughout the playoffs. I was very upset. The Titans played great football. My Steelers have some things to work on for the next meeting... Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted December 22, 2008 Super User Posted December 22, 2008 All I gotta say is we will see you next month... A meaningless game against the browns, a bye week and then whoever wins from the first round? I think we should be in much better health by that time. Kent, we can discuss this game over beers in Kentucky. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 22, 2008 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 22, 2008 I just think it's great the Seahawks beat the Jets. And they did it with a rookie O-line (some of those guys were on the practics squad last month), a 2nd string quarterback, and a handful of starters. The majority of the players were 2nd and 3rd stringers. Ya, the 'Hawks are out of the playoff picture, so the game was meaningless, but it was Holmgren's last home game, so it meant a lot to go out with a win. It showed those guys were playing FOR the coach with a lot of heart. Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted December 23, 2008 Author Super User Posted December 23, 2008 I hate fairweather and bandwagon fans. C'mon, it's the advantage of an armchair quarterback! I love me some Bronco's, but they suck! Quote
Super User Tin Posted December 23, 2008 Super User Posted December 23, 2008 There is no point in rooting for any AFC team to win a Superbowl when you have the Giants and Panthers in the NFC. And with the streak they're on the Colts could probably take down the Steelers or Titans. But until then...GO PATS! Quote
