Nick B Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 I would have to say Rapala due their selectabilty and affordability Quote
boondocks Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 I would have to say Rapala due their selectabilty and affordability I'll second that for #1. Wiggle warts and rattl traps come in second seeing a lot of water time. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted January 15, 2007 Super User Posted January 15, 2007 Rapala isn't a lure but the name of a company that produces a throng of lures. I don't see how one lure like the "rat-l-trap" can be compared to an entire company like "rapala" Roger Quote
bass109 Posted January 15, 2007 Author Posted January 15, 2007 "rat-l-trap" can be compared to an entire company like "rapala" yeah but you get the idea Quote

justfishin Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Norman Deep Baby N, Rapala #10 or #12 Suspending Husky Jerk, Bomber 6A and 7A. Quote
JigNBig Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 i think bandit has done a pretty good job with their crankbaits and you cannot beat a ratl-trap. fish it in 2 ft or 200 ft and you will catch fish Quote
jagdbdg Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I really like Bomber, especially the square a Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted January 16, 2007 Super User Posted January 16, 2007 I tend to throw alot of Rat-L-traps, Big-O's, and Minus-1's. If those don't work I'll start with plastics and jigs. Quote
BASS fisherman Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I voted "other" I like to throw cranks that are handcrafted like Whittler's cranks. Nothing beats throwing a one of a kind lure that was handcrafted. I've caught more fish consistantly with Whittler's cranks than any other companies lures. Not to mention he is one heck of a guy!
