Super User skunked_again Posted December 15, 2008 Super User Posted December 15, 2008 how much booze is in it?................lol Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 15, 2008 Super User Posted December 15, 2008 K.I.S.S. I think you will find that store-bought egg-nog is just fine. Bourbon gives the drink a deeper, nuttier flavor, than rum. Start at 4 parts egg-nog/ 1 part whiskey, then adjust to taste. I like this mix with a whiskey chaser. After one, I find it best to forgo the bourbon egg-nog and just stick with the whiskey! Quote
senko_77 Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Love it. My favorite way to drink it is right after it's made so the chunks of ice cream haven't melted yet. SO GOOD! Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted December 15, 2008 Super User Posted December 15, 2008 Bourbon RW? George Dickel #7. It's not just for sippin' Quote
Fisher of Men Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I love the stuff, although never had it with liquor. I really like the egg nog ice cream. I just had me an egg nog shake with my Braum's burger earlier tonight. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 16, 2008 Super User Posted December 16, 2008 Bourbon RW? George Dickel #7. It's not just for sippin' Knob Creek Kentucky Bourbon. 8-) Quote

Alas, I must now limit myself to regular egg nog or wine only. (Loud Sigh) Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 16, 2008 Super User Posted December 16, 2008 Hmm...Although I actually prefer Scotch, there are several Bourbons I like! 8-) Quote
-HAWK- Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Anyone try the egg nog milkshake from Mcdonalds? Quote
Fisher of Men Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Anyone try the egg nog milkshake from Mcdonalds? Wasn't aware there was one. I'll have to give it a try the next time I order some hot, fresh, gooey cookies. Quote

Bassboss Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 How is it possible not to like the stuff!!!?!?!?!?! Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted December 17, 2008 Super User Posted December 17, 2008 I like egg nog and Tom and Jerry's. Anyone remember the movie 'Better Off Dead' Charles De Mar: Ah, come on! It's Christmas Eve! I could be home right now, drinking this monster egg nog my brother makes with lighter fluid. Quote
Super User Muddy Posted December 17, 2008 Super User Posted December 17, 2008 The last time ( 18 years ago) I drank Egg Nog with Dewar's in it I got arrested for singing a rousing rendition of Bingle Jells with my best friend Joey in front of the Local Precinct on Christmas Eve at 3am in the morning.
