Cigarlover 1 Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Hey everybody. I've been pre occupied for the last 6 months and haven't had a chance to really post. I look around from time to time but though I'd jump back in. Good to see everybody again. Here's a little of what I've been doing. Went down to FL for Thanksgiving to visit my wife's mother and husband and actually did some fishing in the canal and caught 6 or 7 lbers. That's about the only fishing I've done since Kathryn was born. I don't even mind. Kids are amazing. Glenn, the updates are fantastic! Quote
Tokyo Tony Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Good to see you're doing well Craig, and congrats on your new life with the baby I guess there are more important things than fishing. Although... that canal in one of your pictures looks like an absolute bass haven. The baby looks adorable and healthy. Keep up the good work! Quote

Low_Budget_Hooker Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 RIGHT ON PAPA!! Will you still be here (New England) for the spring? Quote
Cigarlover 1 Posted December 15, 2008 Author Posted December 15, 2008 RIGHT ON PAPA!! Will you still be here (New England) for the spring? Yep. Plans have changed. Due to the economy and no offers on the house we took it off the market. We'll be here at least a couple years probably. We're lucky enough that are jobs are going well and they may even get better for us personally in the near future so we've changed our goal to just try to be back in KY before Kathryn starts school. I have to say would love to be close to my family but part of me is happy we'll be here a little longer. We love it up here and have made great friends up here that we'll really miss when we/if we do ever move. Quote

Being non native to FL I have to admit I was a little intimidated at first. Quote

Nah, I was by my self and didn't catch anything of size so I didn't fool with it. I was mainly taking pictures to show my wife what kind of water I was fishing. And to freak her out with the gator sign. lmao. Quote

Cigarlover 1 Posted December 15, 2008 Author Posted December 15, 2008 I just looked at my post and kinda reads like a caught a 6 or 7 lber. Just to clarify I caught six or seven 1 lbers. lol Not a 6 or 7 lb bass. Quote
Cigarlover 1 Posted December 15, 2008 Author Posted December 15, 2008 Wow, you look tiered! I've been tired for 6 months. lol. Worth every second though. PS-were in fl were you fishing? I'm not exactly sure of the town that canal was in. Vero maybe? My wifes mother lives on Hutchinson Island so it was that area. Quote
