Super User Long Mike Posted December 15, 2008 Super User Posted December 15, 2008 It was 69 degrees in Tulsa at 3:00 this afternoon. I was happily placing the outdoor Christmas lights in my T-Shirt. Before I was finished I was wearing my winter coat. It's now 24 degrees, with a wind chill of 13. Quote
Super User flechero Posted December 15, 2008 Super User Posted December 15, 2008 Glenn, Just talked to my folks (in Dallas) and it's not as balmy as it seems, the wind chill is in the upper 60's. : Quote
Pond Hopper Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Went from 47 this morning to a -9 windchill in Iowa. In certain places there was over 60 degrees in temperature difference in this state. Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted December 15, 2008 Super User Posted December 15, 2008 I spent 2-3 hrs this afternoon doing stuff outside I should have done back in October. I figured it was going to be my last real chance. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 15, 2008 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 15, 2008 2hrs later and it's 21 outside with a windchill of 10 degrees. And "they" say it's going to be like this for at least a week. Hard to believe just 2 months ago we were fishing when it was in the upper 80's. Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted December 15, 2008 Super User Posted December 15, 2008 Seems like just yesterday I was on a calm lake on a warm spring morning. Wish it were true. Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 15, 2008 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 15, 2008 Sorry if some of you decided to take this negatively. It was the furthest from my mind. I'm just in awe of nature and thought I'd post about it. Long Mike - WOW! A nearly 50 degree drop in a few hours. That's amazing. Too bad a few folks find negativity in this thread. Seems like a lot of effort to see things that way. I'd hate to live like that. Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted December 15, 2008 Super User Posted December 15, 2008 I'm just glad that so far we've had a relatively mild one so far. I know there's plenty more winter to come, but I'll take all the nice weather I can get. Quote
