=Matt 5.0= Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 who knows??? dont matter what they think about me matters what i think about them ;D That's the spirit.
preach4bass Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 To keep this from becoming a religious post I'll just say that after reading this thread, the "agnostic" is making a whole lot more sense than the "Redneckustic." :-X
Super User Sam Posted December 13, 2008 Super User Posted December 13, 2008 In this day and age when people get offended over small stuff, it is easier to have your employees say "Happy Holidays" in order not to offend anyone. Its about money for retailers, municipal, educational and service organizations. Regarding regular people doing their own thing, they can say whatever they wish. If one wants to aviod offending anyone this is the easy way out for those who want to go along with the flow and not create a bad situation when confronting crazy people. I know many Jewish people who say Merry Christmas and they are not offended. After all, Jesus was Jewish. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Super User Hookemdown. Posted December 13, 2008 Super User Posted December 13, 2008 You guys can say whatever you want, but as for me and my house, we shall say Merry Christmas.
Super User Dan: Posted December 13, 2008 Super User Posted December 13, 2008 so you get mad at other people for choosing to say "Happy Holidays" but at the same time, you are adamant about your own right to choose to say "Merry Christmas"...hmm, it reeks of double standards in here. I say Merry Christmas. And I could give a rat's behind what anyone else says.
=Matt 5.0= Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 I think he's over thinking it. "Happy Holidays" in the past has typically covered the "Christmas" and "New Years" celebration. You could all just be like me and instead say "Have a good one."
