Tokyo Tony Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_news/2008/12/ice_storm_leave.html Hope the Mass and NH guys are doing ok and staying warm. Quote
wagn Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Yeah, it was a heck of a storm. I lost power last night and still don't have it back. (I'm at work now and we are running on generators). The upside is that the woods look beatiful. Everything is covered in glowing ice as the sun reflects off of it. It's really looks like another world. I only hope that we get some electricty before tonight. From what I understand over half of PSNH ( the largest electric company up here) is out of power right now. That's somewhere around 250,000 customers Quote
Bassboss Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Wow! It must suck being in the winter with no electricity, let's hope every one has stocked up on fire wood! Quote
Super User Marty Posted December 13, 2008 Super User Posted December 13, 2008 Wow! It must suck being in the winter with no electricity, let's hope every one has stocked up on fire wood! It does suck indeed. We're not affected by this one, but had two major ones within 12 years. I hope those folks get their power back soon. Quote
