Super User Tin Posted December 11, 2008 Super User Posted December 11, 2008 And struggling to meet a minimum page amount...... Longer citations + justifying paper = More sleep time Quote
Super User Dan: Posted December 11, 2008 Super User Posted December 11, 2008 don't forget about increasing the font size of all the periods. Quote
Super User Tin Posted December 11, 2008 Author Super User Posted December 11, 2008 don't forget about increasing the font size of all the periods. I knew there had to be a fellow procrastinator on here at this hour. ;D Quote
Super User Dan: Posted December 11, 2008 Super User Posted December 11, 2008 yeah, but I'm not writing anything. I just need to study for a GenEd exam tomorrow morning. I am watching some shows on the Outdoor Channel website, then I'm going to study for a couple hours and go to sleep, wake up, take my exam, then get "ready" for Friday's playoff game... Quote
SimonSays Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 don't forget about increasing the font size of all the periods. Nice! never thought of that one! toss a big block quote in there! Quote
Super User Dan: Posted December 11, 2008 Super User Posted December 11, 2008 yup, you can get some good length out of it, and it is impossible to tell that the periods are bigger than they should be. Quote
IDbasser Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 don't forget about increasing the font size of all the periods. That actually works to lengthen your papers? Now you tell me, I am done with school. Quote
Super User Muddy Posted December 11, 2008 Super User Posted December 11, 2008 I am up trying to graph inequalities : Quote
Murray Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 wow, i almost forgot about a paper i have due tomorrow...well later tonight. thanks! Quote
Super User cart7t Posted December 11, 2008 Super User Posted December 11, 2008 Double space after all, comma's. Triple space after periods. It works. Quote
Super User Root beer Posted December 11, 2008 Super User Posted December 11, 2008 Muddy, isn't graphing inequalities fun? I'm actually done with all my stuff. I just got print out all my papers for speech put it in a folder turn it in and take the final. Quote
atx_newbie Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 My problem was always editing enough out of my papers. They seemed to always be too long, which many professors will penalize more harshly than if it's too short. I just get into a zone when I'm writing papers, and don't stop until my stream of consciousness ends. Which is normally two hours and 10,000 words later. Yeah, I tend to ramble sometimes. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted December 11, 2008 Super User Posted December 11, 2008 Which is normally two hours and 10,000 words later. Now that would be a feat Quote
Tokyo Tony Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 I am up trying to graph inequalities : Instead of graphing them, we should be trying to get rid of them Quote
Super User Dan: Posted December 11, 2008 Super User Posted December 11, 2008 I am up trying to graph inequalities : Instead of graphing them, we should be trying to get rid of them LMAO! ;D Quote
Super User Root beer Posted December 11, 2008 Super User Posted December 11, 2008 I'm all for getting rid of inequality. I don't believe I have to do that. I got probability and statistic next semester. Quote
daviscw Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 I'm all for getting rid of inequality. I don't believe I have to do that. I got probability and statistic next semester. Haaa! Good luck with stats buddy! My major only required college algebra. 8-) Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted December 11, 2008 Super User Posted December 11, 2008 I like to finish my paper early, then watch everyone else squirm. Quote
bmadd Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Stats is actually easier than college algebra. At least it was for me. We were given a book with all of the formulas for every test and then it was just down to knowing what formula to apply to what problem and the rest was the calculators doing. Boring as everything but fairly easy. Quote
Super User Root beer Posted December 12, 2008 Super User Posted December 12, 2008 I have calculus next. Unless I can substitute with business math, but I highly doubt it. I'm accountancy major, therefore, math is fun! Quote
bmadd Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Have mercy on you Root Beer. I managed by some kind of grace to get out of managerial accounting with a C. Finance is a much better field of study Quote
Super User Dan: Posted December 12, 2008 Super User Posted December 12, 2008 I'm so glad I'm in the College of Arts and Letters. I would much rather have to write a few papers than do math all semester... Quote
Super User Root beer Posted December 12, 2008 Super User Posted December 12, 2008 bmadd, was is that hard trying to figured out how to control cost and set budgets? ;D I'm not saying it easy, but it an awesome position to be in once you learned it all. Think about it, you know where every dime went. Quote
