Hey guys lets say you have been fishing for a long time and cannot get the bass to bite. What do you do at this point? What lure do you tie on that you know will work no matter what?

My skunk buster bait would be a 4-6 inch roboworm. There are certain parts of every lake I fish where I can throw one of these out work it a little and will ALWAYS catch a bass. Yeah the bass I catch in those spots with this lure might be dinks but at least I can say I caught something.

What are you guys skunk buster baits?

1)  Split shot (1/8 to 1/4oz weight) 4" curl tail or straight tail worm

2)  Rage tail craw with 1/8oz weight

3)  * * with 3/16oz jighead

4)  1/4oz shakey head finesse worm

One of those 4 lures will always work.  So far, the Rage tail craw hasn't let me down, and it's been every weekend (and some lunch trips) since around feb.

Hands down the BPS Beaver Bug in Roadkill Camo.  This thing is just dominating as of late.  Of course I'm doing well fishing my C-rigged french fry where the bass should be, but it seems like any time I pitch the Beaver Bug to cover I get bit.  On Memorial Day, I launched at a busy marina full of drunks and loud motors.  I went ahead and fished the marina out anyway, and stuck countless bass on the bug.  This is my 'fat ika'.  It is so magical for me right now if I were more fortunate I would send everyone a free pack.  Seriously...it's that productive.  I'm waiting on someone to pick up a pack and back me up...

The Kicktail Minnow.  I've been banned from all local tournaments because of this lure.   :)

Bobby Garland's Hard Times Grub (discontinued long long time ago) fished on a 1/8 ounce Slider Spider jig.  The bait in several colors take up half my panic box.

Don't bother looking for them, I think I'm the only one left in the world who has any.  ::)

If I had to catch at least one fish, (we're talking life or death situation here) I'd probably tie on an in-line spinner.  May not catch the biggest or the prettiest, but it catches.

1) 3/0 oz t-rigged berkley power worm in red/shad

2) *** 5 inch watermelon candy

3) sr5 shad rap in tennessee shad

4) 3/8 oz blakemore roadrunner solid chartruese, in clear lakes i can always limit out on spots with this thing, learned that while crappie fishing.

5) 3/16 oz shakey head with pumkin chartruese zoom 6 inch floater

This ones easy for me. Sebile possesed series lipless crankbait. I have used these since Febuary. I caught my first 15 fish of the year on this bait, WHILE THERE WAS STILL ICE ON THE BANKS. This bait is awesome. It does not have rattles, so its very quiet. It catches bass like crazy on all the clear and heavily pressured lakes and ponds I fish.

I'm T-rigging it with a 3/0 X-point and 1/8oz tungsten weight.  The Beaver bug is the best BPS plastic I have used to date.
