GAMEOVER Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Just got my CoBra split ring pliers in the other day along with some OWNER trebles to replace on my Daiwa RPMs and One-Tens. These pliers are very well made. They are the perfect size. I highly recommend these pliers to you who are sick of nailing it and even as a more quality alternative to Texas Tackles split ring pliers. They can handle all size split rings ive thrown at them so far. From tiny to #7s. Quote
moby bass Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Where do you find them? I just threw away a pair of cheap pliers the other day because I was so frustrated with them. After they shot a couple of split rings across the garage, into the trash they went. Quote
GAMEOVER Posted June 6, 2008 Author Posted June 6, 2008 Cabelas is the only online retailer ive found to carry them. Quote
D.Cox Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 I have some of the Texas Tackle and they are good, but you can take a cheep pair and make a good pair with a dremel tool or a small file. Most are to big for small split rings and i will file them down like the Texas tackle pliers. Quote
Super User Marty Posted June 8, 2008 Super User Posted June 8, 2008 I highly recommend these pliers to you who are sick of nailing it and even as a more quality alternative to Texas Tackles split ring pliers. These do look like a very nice pair of pliers, but how do they exceed TT in quality? Quote
