That was the first thing that came into my mind when I saw them a couple of days ago..... and I 've got a killer rigging method that I 'm shure will make them move wohoo !. Quote
Triton_Mike Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Swimming Senk vs Shad shape worm. Really you can't compare the 2. Shad shape is a dropshot bait while the shad shape worm is more of a swimbait. 2 totally different tools here. I have used the shad shape and have done the pool test with it. Me likes it!!! That tail quivers very nicely. I haven't tried the swimming senko yet tho. Mike Quote
Super User T-rig Posted January 17, 2007 Super User Posted January 17, 2007 Raul, what is your secret killer rigging method? Por favor dimelo!!!! Quote
Super User Raul Posted January 17, 2007 Super User Posted January 17, 2007 Raul, what is your secret killer rigging method? Por favor dimelo!!!! You need.- 1 nail weight 1 Kahle 1/0 hook 1 bait step 1: insert the nail weight in the head of the bait, how heavy depends on how fast you want the bait to sink, when inserting the nail weight directed it towards the belly of the bait. step 2: flip the bait so the flat side looks up, grab the Kahle hook and insert the hook in the middle line of the bait, now the bait is rigged wacky LONGITUDINAL style. It has to be a Kahle hook otherwise you won 't have enough plastic under the throat of the hook to hold the bait. The nail weight will make the bait sink with it 's head looking down, the rigging will make the bait dart sideways when jerked ( like a walk the dog bait ) or swim in circles when twitched ( just like a dying minnow ), if reeled in steadily and slow speed the bait will swim away and parallel from you. It 's a deadly presentation in very clear water and for sight fishing to spooky fish. You need a medium- medium/light rod and 6-8 pound test nylon or fluoro, heavier line kills the action of the bait. One trick out of my pocket filled with dirty and nasty tricks to make them bite when they don 't want to bite. Quote
