Super User .dsaavedra. Posted November 17, 2008 Super User Posted November 17, 2008 right now i'm glad i'm on Team Huggies so that way i dont have to argue with Hookem who insists on posting crazy stupid songs as you guys' anthem Quote
bmadd Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 When you learn that Metallica isn't music you can graduate to Team Pampers. Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted November 17, 2008 Author Super User Posted November 17, 2008 House of Pain is one of few rap groups I like. One can not deny that song's badazzness. Quote

slomoe Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 "Word to ya moms, I come to drop bombs.." Classic. I had this on cassette when it came out. ;D Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted November 17, 2008 Super User Posted November 17, 2008 Team Depends is the top of the food chain & y'all little ankle biters are only irritating I dont know what food chain you are speaking of. The one I belong to doesnt have pureed carrots at its apex. : Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 17, 2008 Super User Posted November 17, 2008 Fourbizz is a carpenter, I owned a construction company so the food chain I'm speaking of is all about $$$$$. Being a retired member on Team Depends I'm not to concerned with cost of gas or if the weekend weather is permitting or asking Momma's permission. I'm afforded the flexibility of picking & choosing the days I want to fish & how long I want to stay. Quote

I'm afforded the flexibility of picking & choosing the days I want to fish & how long I want to stay. Oh, no doubt some of the older guys have some money, yourself included. The only thing you have to remember is that since you are comfortable in your retirement villa, I dont think you want "it" as bad any more. There is nothing but unlimited drive and determination on our side. Your team, on the other hand, is severely limited by a lack of creativity, complacency and the cruel realization that your days at the top are numbered. Game on, sir. Bizz, nice "Clockwork" reference Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted November 17, 2008 Super User Posted November 17, 2008 We can't argue how well fourbizz and a few others have done with the "new" swimbait techniques. He has achieved a level that most of us can only dream of. Although he is a great example, Team Pampers has several members that have demonstrated superior talents. Conceding that many of you excel, also note the advantage you have if you pay atttention to your elders suggestions. Most of Team Depends share their proven techniques, location indicators and specific lure selections. For most of you, fishing Catt's way exclusively would improve your performance by at least 200%. I'm not discouraging experimentation or "thinking outside the box", but you can skip through a lot of the learning curve by paying close attention to the voices of experience. For example, quit playing with your little toys and put on a grown-up lure: go big or go home. Think "size" not "numbers". 4" worms and "keeper" fish don't cut it, step up to the plate and change your diapers! 8-) Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted November 17, 2008 Super User Posted November 17, 2008 Tell ya what.... Let me know what you think when you are dodging Huds and Slammers in Kentucky next year. I'm getting pretty accurate with the Okuma. ;D Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted November 17, 2008 Super User Posted November 17, 2008 No doubt, Team Pampers has a big lead in the swimbait category. Although a few from Depends have taken up the technique, I expect your team to increase the lead. Some of us are stuck in the mud, but for most it's really about the workout. Small and medium swimbaits, up to a Mattlures Baby Bass for example, is about as far as you can go with standard bass gear. It's also about as much as some of us want to throw. 8-) Quote

Super User Catt Posted November 17, 2008 Super User Posted November 17, 2008 Fourbizz is outstanding with swim baits but head to head I'll put my money on paul. & LBH aint to bad Mr. SPEEDBEAD Sir I think Team Pampers would be hard pressed to hang with Ole Catt anchored on deep water structure with worm rod in hand or matted Hydrilla with a jig rod in hand. To many of y'all can't sit still that long with the exception of maybe fourbizz. Yea there aint much run-n-gun in this Ole Catt but there again there never was Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted November 17, 2008 Super User Posted November 17, 2008 RW and Catt, Muddy called. He said the group bocce tournament starts in 10 minutes. He wants you to bring a few items. When he started to list them, this is all I got.... 1. Then I heard something that sounded like snoring..... and Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted November 17, 2008 Super User Posted November 17, 2008 No can do...I only need one more number for a BINGO! 8-) Quote
Super User Tin Posted November 17, 2008 Super User Posted November 17, 2008 Mr. SPEEDBEAD Sir I think Team Pampers would be hard pressed to hang with Ole Catt anchored on deep water structure with worm rod in hand. You don't know what deep is. Try drop-shotting 60'-100'. That's how I sack up the smallies on those big, crystal clear lakes that you would know nothing about.. The worm fishing I will give you Catt and I'm sure RW could beat us up with his live bait, but what about jig fishing....Bizz, Senko, myself. I think you doubt our abilities... I wish we could all go to Kentucky Lake and settle this. Quote
Super User flechero Posted November 17, 2008 Super User Posted November 17, 2008 Man it's deep in here.... glad I have hip boots. ;D Tin, I have to say that I'm probably closer to your age than Catt's age but the younger crowd always under estimates the "old guys"... trust me, I was one of the ones under estimating them, not that long ago. I think you would be really surprised by how well some of the "old guys" can still fish. Some of them have forgotten more than we know. I have no doubt that you, senko, Jay and many others are all serious sticks... But Catt has been a serious stick for longer than any of you have been alive... You should be giving him the same benefit of the doubt that you are seeking. Quote

I don't mean any disrespect at all to LBH, but when you get ready to drop money on LBH over Bizz with a swimbait be sure to contact me first. I have some money burning a hole in my pocket. LBH by his own admission just started swimbaiting like 6 months ago. Quote

Youngster once again going off in a heated rush Mr. Tin by any chance have you heard of Beaver Lake, Lake of the Ozarks, Millwood Lake, De Gray Lake, Lake Ouachita, Greer's Ferry Lake, Bull Shoals, Harry S. Truman Reservoir these are just a few deep clear lakes on which the Ole Catt has tournament wins and/or top 5s. Never ever underestimate your quarry Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted November 18, 2008 Author Super User Posted November 18, 2008 Tin, I believe Catt has you beat in the deep structure category. The lakes in northern AR and southern MO are some of the deepest, gin clear lakes in the country. Some depths hit 200ft +. The battle is lost, but the war continues. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted November 18, 2008 Super User Posted November 18, 2008 Yeah Tin, what are you thinking? Catt is the greatest! Just ask him! Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 18, 2008 Super User Posted November 18, 2008 Yeah Tin, what are you thinking? Catt is the greatest! Just ask him! Y'all think just because I spent a majority of my time for the last 36 years on the Bend I've never fished any where else. Unlike Team Pampers some of the Team Depends Gang has logged many an hour on waters other than their home lake. Quote
bmadd Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 In the last year I've fished tournaments in three states on five major lakes. I know Tin and Senko have done some traveling too. Also Catt, I'd like to see you hike and bike to some of the places Bizz goes. Quote
