SDoolittle Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Has anyone ever donated anything to Goodwill? I'm starting to pack up my apartment and I'm finding a lot of stuff that I don't really want or need anymore. It's mostly clothes and toys that my kids have outgrown, but it's still in good shape and I don't want to just throw it all away. Do they have seperate donation centers or do you just take a big box of crap to the Goodwill store and say "here you go"? Quote
preach4bass Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Just pile all your junk in boxes and drop it off at one of their locations. They'll gladly take it, sort through it, and put it where it needs to be. Quote
SDoolittle Posted November 17, 2008 Author Posted November 17, 2008 Okay, thanks. I just didn't want to look foolish carrying a big box of stuff into the wrong place. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted November 17, 2008 Super User Posted November 17, 2008 just give them a call. Lots of times they have side doors where you can just knock and drop stuff off with someone. Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted November 17, 2008 Super User Posted November 17, 2008 I do it all the time. Don't forget the receipt for your taxes. Quote
