Has anyone ever donated anything to Goodwill? I'm starting to pack up my apartment and I'm finding a lot of stuff that I don't really want or need anymore. It's mostly clothes and toys that my kids have outgrown, but it's still in good shape and I don't want to just throw it all away. Do they have seperate donation centers or do you just take a big box of crap to the Goodwill store and say "here you go"?

Just pile all your junk in boxes and drop it off at one of their locations.  They'll gladly take it, sort through it, and put it where it needs to be.

Okay, thanks. I just didn't want to look foolish carrying a big box of stuff into the wrong place.

just give them a call. Lots of times they have side doors where you can just knock and drop stuff off with someone.
