Really great work guys  8-)  Had some fun back in the mid eighties with my AE1 in b/w, but never to this calibre.  I love the cloud and water shots, both of you.

I haven't viewed LBH's show due to log-in problems.

John, those are terrific. I've loved photography most of my adult life, but never had the artistic creativity that your pictures display.

Just out of curiosity, was the picture of the woman between the birch tree trunks taken in Durand near the golf course? I always wanted to take a similar picture but never had the opportunity.

Again, great pics!!

P.S. Film or digital?

I didn't even see this thread :-[

Thanks all for the kind comments. I tend to update the main gallery once in a while, so be sure to stop at the home page (http://plan-b.smugmug.com/).

Marty, yes, that is across from that small small parking area just past the golf course. I found that tree and another one to be a perfect spot. Here are few other portraits from that spot:

I also take quite a few "fishing portraits" as well. I love doing these. Keep in mind, they are meant to exaggerate, excite, and capture the joy of catching not document the catch.

Here is one that "got away," but I got him first :)

Every image I've taken since 2005 has been digital, though I work like hell to process the raw files so they look like film when printed ;)

Russ, the cat in the sink is a winner.  I love all the flowers - I take quite a few myself.

Sorry LBH, but I couldn't get in to see yours..... although I've seen some of your work before, and I know its awesome too.

Ya' know, I was just about to post a link to my photography pages...

But I've got some stuff I need to add, and some older stuff I want to remove. It's on my list of stuff to do, so I will get back to you guys soon :-)

Great fishing to you guys, and don't forget to take / post some pictures :-)

Peace,

Fish
