Super User bilgerat Posted November 9, 2008 Super User Posted November 9, 2008 and 10 lbs fatter A few weeks ago I asked you where the good eats in Brooklyn were- Roast beef sandwiches at Brennen and Carr- out of this world !! New York pizza- what else can you say ? But the best we found was Randazzo's on Emmons Ave across from the head boats. The calimari with their special hot sauce was a killer. I had fish fillets stuffed with baby shrimp & crabmeat. That one would make a priest kick out a stained glass window !! The fishing was another story. We were there on a job, not a fishing trip. Went out behind the motel Thursday night for a couple of hours, didn't get anything though. The storm had come through the day before thats what probably scattered them. I was suprised to find two nice bait and tackle stores within walking distance of the motel. Didn't expect to see that in the middle of Brooklyn ! Oh well, if I make it back up there I'll have my gear with me for sure. Quote
Super User Muddy Posted November 9, 2008 Super User Posted November 9, 2008 Good I am glad you had a good time. I knew about Randazzo's, not bad. I make most of our seafood at home. Elaine is not a huge fan of anything that swims or crawls :-/ If I go out for Italian Seafood it's either Vincent's in Little Italy; Risk Kid took his sons there and loved it! and Rocco's Clamari on Ft.Hamilton Blvd. Give a shout ahead of time and you can get a home cooked meal if the timing is right. Did you find Stella Maris Marina/Bait Store? Quote
Super User bilgerat Posted November 9, 2008 Author Super User Posted November 9, 2008 Yeah, but we didn't have time to go in. Will check it out if I get back. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Cool, we don't always get the report-back. Quote
