I am not very tech savvy but I did figure out how to make my favorite fishing commercial my ringtone. My favorite is when Shaw says, "thats a big ol pig"....My wife thinks I am crazy everytime my phone rings. Anyway, I know some of you are as helpless in your addiction as me and may like it. You can download it here. Scroll to the bottom and save to your computer. then email or text it to your phone. All you have to do is download that song on your computer, to to myxer.com. Upload it there and customize it to fit your phone then send it as a text message. If you pay for text messages then you will be charged there, but the site is completely free. Quote

You can even cut the beginning and end of the song to fit your phone. Try it out. There is a pay option but you can do it for free it just takes longer to get the text message for the d/l url. Quote

I've done this with several songs now. Great little tool! I've had the Quantum song on my phone for a few months now. Gummybear, I'll see if I still have the original and send it to you. Quote
moby bass Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Way too much work. Any tone/song I want, I just play it on the computer while holding the phone up to the speaker in the record mode. Then just set that file as a ringtone. You can't tell the difference. Quote
