Ghosts? Hauntings?

Both of these stories come from my brother.  Im not exactly sure about all the details but this is what he has told us...

1. about a year or two ago my brother who is 23 now was walking out of the wood we hunt alone. there is a tax ditch with a trail along it for a little over a half mile. According to my brother he was about half way down the path when he heard a noise to his left in the woods. He said as he looked over into the woods with the flashlight that he saw some sort of "thing" standing just past the tree line looking at him. His description of it was that it had red cat like eyes that were at or above the head height of a horse. he said he didnt see anything else because he just caught a glimpse of it before he lost sight of it. Now whenever we are near the area he refuses to talk about.

2.This has happened twice and is not much of a 'wow' story at all. In fact it probobly isnt that impressive at all except for that fact that it was a strange occurance around our house which is litterally in the middle of nowhere. One night last year i was half asleep in bed when my brother woke me up with a pistol in his hand. He asked me if i had done anything to his window which was next to mine and had a roof over the porch to connect them. i told him no and asked him why. he said he was on his computer when he heard a noise like a car outside our house and then an object like a small rock hitting his window. He said as he walked to the window he heard a dark bark in our yard. the strange part is that there did not appear to be a car on our road and that there was no dog. We walked outside and again no dog. We figured it had been our dog but our mom told us that the dog was right outside the back window were she could see the dog.

Then this summer after work one night i was playing xbox and had just signed off when my brother walked in again asking if i had heard a dog outside. i had not and my brother told use that he had heard a dog outside in our yard and said it sounded liike the one from before. i had not heard the dog and again we figured it was our pet dog Selby.Our mom was awake in her room right next to the garage were the dog sleeps and said that while my brother said he had heard a dog that Selby had not made a single noise. Once again this probobly hasnt impressed you that much but is strange that my 23 year old brother who is a cop had heard this noise twice out side our house in the middle of nowhere

Sunday, November 2nd.

It's about idk 6 or 7am. It just got dark in the house. Sunset's done and gone. I'm sitting in my room on my laptop, alone in the house. We just moved into this house so there's alot of rustling going on.. Probably enough to stir something up..

Before I get too ahead of myself.. I also live about half a block away from our cities old hospital.. If that makes a difference to anyone lol..

(I would normally write more, formally, but i'm pretty pumped right now..)

I'm sitting here on msn with my long time fishing buddy, bassboy15 just having a normal talk.

I hear footsteps in the hall, look, and my door flies open. Now I know you're going to say "wind, someone else pushed it, etc;" but no windows/doors were opened. There was nobody else home. The door was securely shut.

I freaked out. Told bassboy, and immediately started a webcam chat with him.

I turned the laptop to face the door. My parents had just come home and I was instructed to fold clothes. So I was standing by my closet (next to the door) folding and hanging my clothes as I talked to bassboy. Minutes after I started, the door once again being securely latched, slowly opened up, about 1/8th of the way, and then quickly slammed shut..

This pretty much confirmed my suspicions that the house is haunted.. I went down into the basement last night to get a fan because we had the AC off and it got really hot in my room, and I felt like I was being watched.. I've also had an experience with leaving the room and the door slammed behind me.

My brother and I had really interesting experiences in our old house and he had several in his house on 14th.

He said he set up webcams and put toys out for the "ghost" to play with. He got stuff moved but nothing ever on camera.

There was a baby that died in our old house. I was very young when we lived there so I can't recall any experiences myself.. My brother has told me stories of breaker boxes blowing in the middle of the night for no reason, music boxes playing by themselves, etc;
