Bassboss Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 We in south Fl are getting colder to, not snow, but cold for this time of year, this morning I think it got down to 48* and did not go higher than 65* all day. Quote

On 309,between Hazleton and McAdoo : 9nches,in my area Nanny Goat Hill in Hazleton we have about 8 inches, 924 and 81 interchange by Humbolt Industrial Park: 10 inches, Down on the base of the mountain in the valley in Drums PA 4 inches. Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted October 28, 2008 Super User Posted October 28, 2008 We've just had flurries here, but the temps are supposed to dip into the 20's tonight with winds 20-30 MPH out of the NW. Falcon Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 29, 2008 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 29, 2008 Temps have been hovering around 60 in my neck of the woods all month long with mostly sunny skies. That's really bizarre because normally it's around 50 and raining. I'm not bragging. I'm just noting how weird the weather has been in our area too. I mean, c'mon, how often are we warmer than most of the rest of the country? Just checked the weather channel. It's 50 right now here. The only places in the country that are higher than that are the very southern tips of California, Texas, and Florida - the warmest being S. FLA at 58. And TX & FLA are in different time zones. The sun is already up there. WIERD!! Quote
Joe Boss Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Snowed here in upstate NY also :'( I can only look at my rods and reels and think about next spring. Quote
heathen Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 WOW Muddy that sucks, I dont feel to bad now, we only got around 4-5 inches here. Should all be gone by tomorrow as its suppose to get up in the high 40's again the rest of the week Quote
Super User Muddy Posted October 29, 2008 Author Super User Posted October 29, 2008 Hey Glenn You want weird, Here in NEPA we got WEIRD! No , Burley did not move here This was a Drought like summer and definitely a drought fall. less than one inch most of Sept and all of Oct!. Yesterday during the storm the County put us on a Water Restriction Check out what we can't do, during the winter wash cars ( unless you have a well) Wash your sidewalk(same restriction) water your lawn( Same restriction) I am sure this is gonna save at least an ounce of water b/c now that it's winter I know everyone would like to be doing this outdoors! Than a few hours later we get a flood advisory b/c all this snow is going to melt fast as in s 2 days projected temp is 58! Quote
Super User Raul Posted October 29, 2008 Super User Posted October 29, 2008 I have nothing to say on the subject. Quote
