any try minnow jigs in States, the use this lure alot in far east, Japan ect

They are also a great searching tool.  I like to make long casts and Yo-yo them back to the boat.  I like the Megabait spoon and the Pirk minnow by Terminator.  The treble does have a tendency to catch the line but you can eliminate this problem by taking it off and use the little Gamakatsu assist hooks at the head of the lure.
