KevO Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 What about Alabama at Tennessee. Even though UT sucks this season it will still be a good game. Quote

Olebiker Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 I keep seeing these "Nobama" bumper stickers. Why is everyone so down on the Tide? : Quote
KevO Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Of course they have a shot at beating them. It's the SEC, not the big 10. Quote

GitRDoneIke23 Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Texas has had OSU's number recently. The cowboys have been playing pretty good this year though (MIZZOU) I think Texas should win it. Speaking of Texas, how's that for 2 GREAT games in a row!! OU/Mizzou!!! Hook 'Em!! #1 and we ain't going anywhere!! -Ike Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted October 24, 2008 Super User Posted October 24, 2008 Texas has had OSU's number recently. -Ike Not really, OSU has just handed over victories to Texas recently. Should be a great game! Quote
Fishing Doug Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Texas/OK State & OSU/Penn State should be good games. Both definitely have National Championship Implications. I am heading out in a few minutes for the Mizzou/Colorado game. There are 150 of us Mizzou grads leaving STL for Columbia to tailgate so it will be a good time even if it isn't a good game! My Tigers need to get things headed in the right direction if we still want to win the North. Hopefully Texas Tech will take care of business in KS. Quote

No kidding!! The past I don't know...........5 games have been "last minuite" comebacks!! Texas is 22-2 against OSU. We'll see how it all plays out! Hook 'Em -Ike Quote
Super User Dan: Posted October 26, 2008 Super User Posted October 26, 2008 #1 JMU vs. #7 Villanova I will be watching the PSU vs. OSU game though. So far, I was right. JMU wins on the last play of the game for the second week in a row (see video of the previous amazing comeback ), preserving their #1 rank in the FCS. JMU marched down the field into the redzone down 19-14 led by rushes from QB Rodney Landers (Walter Payton frontrunner). They were stopped in the red zone by penalties and botched plays and settled for a field goal to make it 19-17 with about 3 minutes left. They then stopped Villanova, regained the ball with about a minute left to play. They marched down the field, used their last TO at about 40 seconds left. Continued marching down the field to about the 30 yd line where they lined up to spike the ball to stop the clock and attempt a field goal. Not everyone was set though and they were backed up by an illegal procedure penalty, pushing them out of comfortable field goal range. They went for a hail mary, and this is what happened. Just cause it ain't FBS doesn't mean it ain't exciting! Quote
