Today I noticed that the left front was up and leaning to the right. So I took a tape messure and the left front bumper is 7 3/4 inches. The right side is about 7 1/4 off the ground. The second is the stock height. I think it might be the strut. Because I pushed down on the left side and hardly moved. The right went up and down ok. After I moved it 30ft I saw the right corner raise about 1/2 inch. All I can think off is the strut or maybe the swaybar. So I need your help guys.

Aren't you going to school to be a mechanic.  I would think you know someone that could give better info than a bunch of lying fishermen.

I would check the flux capacitor. That is where the problem probably is.

Always is  ;D

It is probabbly the Johsnton valve which connects the Fiinegan rod to the do-hiccus causing your upper flanestan to bulge.

Possible, but this is most common on Toyota models. ;)

While Muddy is correct, his knowledge is somewhat dated.  While Flanistan failure was fairly common in the pre-1970 models, this was largely corrected by the industry in general.  On newer models, the most common failure occurs in the upper Glanknurter.  I think Geico sells Glanknurter insurance.

Make sure your tires are properly inflated on both sides.  If they are, you better take it to a mechanic for a proper diagnosis.

Strut/shock failure plain & simple; while you are at it change both sides  ;)

Strut/shocks can be changed at any auto repair shop from the dealer down to Wal/Mart

100% agree. With a voltmeter across the capacitor, it should read 1.21 gigawatts. If it reads correct, try hitting 88 mph and see if the problem goes away.

Tipp,

You've been around enough to know what kind of answers we'll give.  At least you have some comic relief to think about while you're replacing those struts.

Oh, and BTW, you might need some more plutonium in that thing. . . or wait on a lightning storm.  ;D

If it is indeed a strut, make sure you have a left-handed screwdriver for the left one, and a right-handed screwdriver for the right one.

I know what iam going to get for post. As for the struts I have no clue whats going on wiht them. I took a messurement agian today at work and the right is within a 1/8. So Iam going to to take a few more messurments. In a few other places. When I get around to it all the struts will be replaced with coilovers. Snice I work at a dodge dealership I get a little discount on them. So this winter it looks like I we be changing struts in the cold.

Well, if you work at the Dodge dealership, isn't there a mechanic you can talk to?  I'm sure if you've got a good relationship with these guys, they would be willling to at least look at your car.

Ok, let 's go step by step here:

1.- Open n 'lift the hood, is the injun in the compartment ? if it is then it ain 't an injun problem, it it ain 't then you need an injun to start with.

2.- Is the battery in the compartment ? if it is then it ain 't a battery problem, check that vrything is connected to the battery n 'crank that sucker.

3.- Are the wheels n 'tires where they supposed to be ? well, if they are then there ain 't the problem, check if the tires got some air, if not then put some air in them and it 's ready to roll.

4.- Are the shock absorbers in place ?

Kidding aside, I 'm the least mechanically inclined person in the face of the planet, whenever I have a little trubble with them white man 's inventions called vehicles I just open the hood and stare at the injun while I scratch my head, yeah, like if that would solve anything at all  ::).

Hey Tipp if it is the Struts, there are good after market struts available at ADVANCED AUTO PARTS, especially if you are not looking to keep the vechile for more than the next couple of years it will save you a bit of money!

A few years ago I had a 93 Shadow , it was a beater for sure! I replaced the struts, Dodge wanted 210 each Advanced had them for 185 and they had Monroes for 70, I used the Monroes, and when I sold it they were still holding up just fine

i see your from wisconsin right? if your car is an older one you might want to check the rear suspension also for anything that might have rusted through and broke. reason i say that is my dad had an older dodge van, and the frame rusted through where the leaf springs attached and the the rear of the driver side leaf ended up going through the floor when he was driving it down the road and of course it was sagging which made the front unlevel also.

The car is a 04 Not a bit of rust. The car was undercoated when I got it. I have spent a lot of time under it the last few months every thing looks good or new. As for the service shop guys they couldnt tell me what was wrong when it kept throwing codes. So I took it to a local guy I trust. They fixed a cam sensor that dodge should have paid for. Thaks muddy I will keep that place in mine when I buy a winter beater.
