Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted October 14, 2008 Super User Posted October 14, 2008 I havent seen much fanfare about my Alma Mater, PSU. Was wondering if there were any others out there that bleed Blue and White?!!?!?! BTW, 3rd in the country? Never saw that one coming this year. Its nice to see JoePA and the Nittany Lions return to familiar territory after those couple down years!! Quote
Super User Catt Posted October 14, 2008 Super User Posted October 14, 2008 Might be cause of your schedule Coastal Carolina 3-4 Oregon State 3-3 Syracuse 1-5 Temple 2-5 Illinois 3-3 Purdue 2-4 Wisconsin 3-3 Opponent's record: 17-27 Quote

Super User Catt Posted October 14, 2008 Super User Posted October 14, 2008 At least we play teams with winning records Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted October 14, 2008 Super User Posted October 14, 2008 Don't listen to him Speedbeed, you know how those SEC guys are. BTW, Syracuse is a lot better than their 1-5 record. : Quote

They seem to play with anyone but they can't beat anyone. One week they can score and no D, next week they play D but don't score. Oh well it beats 1W-15L or whatever it was recently Missouri and Penn State had to earn their wins Quote

Super User Dan: Posted October 15, 2008 Super User Posted October 15, 2008 I think their relatively weak schedule is made up for by the fact they are absolutely CRUSHING their opponents. They have a lot of speed on that team and I love to watch them play. My father's side of the family are almost all Nittany Lions so I sort of have a preference for them. I really do think they could compete with most top 10 teams and I hope they get a big bowl game AT LEAST Quote
