Super User Hookemdown. Posted October 5, 2008 Super User Posted October 5, 2008 What is up with Vanderbilt? 5-0?? let me repeat that... 5-0?? Something doesn't add up. I'm still confused. Quote

Super User fishfordollars Posted October 5, 2008 Super User Posted October 5, 2008 Maybe Auburn is that bad. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted October 5, 2008 Super User Posted October 5, 2008 Nah, Auburn isn't that bad, just over-rated. Vandy's playing good ball these days. Quote
bmadd Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Auburn's offense is lacking BIG. Vandy is playing very good and they won even using their backup QB. The SEC is changing. Bama's back, Vandy is winning. Getting very interesting indeed Quote
Super User Catt Posted October 5, 2008 Super User Posted October 5, 2008 First off Hell has not frozen over cause the Saints have not won the Super Bowl Pure, dumb luck; absolutely not Vandy is playing solid football on both sides of the ball & are not killing themselves with stupid mistakes. Nah, Auburn isn't that bad, just over-rated: on offense maybe but defensively they'll stop OU or USC. That's SEC football; Vandy was my upset pick of the week Quote
Super User Root beer Posted October 5, 2008 Super User Posted October 5, 2008 A vanderbilt fan said it best "what is worse? the economy or auburn's offense?" Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted October 5, 2008 Super User Posted October 5, 2008 Actually, Auburn don't beat Tenn without the fumble in the redzone for a TD. Tenn isn't all that thus far. Alabama don't beat Kentucky without the fumble in the redzone for a TD as well. Auburn was over rated. Go Vandy. Would love to see Vandy keep winning. Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted October 5, 2008 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted October 5, 2008 That's called SEC football! That's just the way it is. Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted October 5, 2008 Author Super User Posted October 5, 2008 This cliche is getting on my nerves. Come play some real football in the Big 12. Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted October 5, 2008 Super User Posted October 5, 2008 No kidding!!! Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted October 6, 2008 Author Super User Posted October 6, 2008 I'm looking for an OU/Mizzou/Tex Tech top 3 before the end of the year. 8-) Quote
Super User Root beer Posted October 6, 2008 Super User Posted October 6, 2008 Does the big XII knows what defense means? I remember back during 2005 cotton bowl, texas tech bought their precious high scoring air raid offense into town against a very tough Alabama defense. The outcome....13-10. Texas tech was averaging some 40 some points a game, and Alabama shut down that offense like it was nothing. Of course that the same year Alabama went 9-0 and finish up 10-2. Our offense that year was insanely horrible and inconsisent. My point? SEC is the best conference in the world!!! It so freaking awesome! I'm praying to the football gods that Alabama and LSU is underfeated on November the 8th. It ought to be an amazing hard hitting football game. Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted October 6, 2008 Author Super User Posted October 6, 2008 We don't need luck (or biased voters). Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted October 6, 2008 Author Super User Posted October 6, 2008 That actually wouldn't be much of an upset in my book. All 3 teams can beat anybody. Texas might be able to as well. It'll sure be interesting. Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted October 6, 2008 Super User Posted October 6, 2008 I guess ... "that's just life in the Big XII for you" Quote
atx_newbie Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Come back when your teams learn to play some defense. If LSU can put up the offensive numbers that it did against Auburn, I'm sure we could also average 50 points a game against teams with no defense. Maybe that will change though, as Bo Pellini will bring some of what he learned out to the Big 12 Quote
