Has anyone used one of these buzz baits? I was on there web site and watched the buzz bait in action. Looks cool but I don't know if it is just another buzz bait or is it every thing they say it is? I was at Sportsmans Warehouse and they had them , they look good and solid!

I have caught alot of fish on the Cavitron buzzbait, but I haven't seen them in years. The reason I liked them was they made alot noise, the holes in the blades create a bubble trail as the buzzbait is fished. :)Ivan

It's about the only one that I throw.  They're still readily available.

The Cavitron is the best buzzbait I have ever used and has by far been my best producer. The white/gold blade 1/4 or 1/2 oz is the bomb. I was down to four of them a few years ago because, I couldn't find them and a friend of mine called and said he found a case of them at a sale where a bait shop was closing. We bought the whole case. I don't know what it is but, they work. Its kind of like the same situation between the Pop R and the Rico. In my experience the Rico outproduces the Pop R hands down. Why? I don't know, but, it does, at least for me. Use them if you can find them. I think they are making them again, I am not sure.

Rumor has it that one of our well known members has designed a buzzbait that fishes better than a Cavitron. I believe him only because he has always said that the Cavitron is the best buzzbait out there. So keep your eyes and ears open for when he starts selling them. Hopefully it will be sometime this year. If not I will be stealing some out of his boat for sure. I haven't gotten permission to tell you who he is yet.

If it is better than the Cavitron, I might be peeking over your shoulder to get in his boat. If it is who I think you are talking about. But in the meantime, I will go woth Cavitron's and Picasso's.

IMHO the Cavitron is the best buzzbait that can be bought off the shelf in a store. It has a lot of nice modifications already built in and is the only buzzbait I fish straight out of the pack. There is one buzzbait that is better though but not available at this time to the general public. ;D

The Cavitron is one of those "dream come true" stories we bassers love to talk about.

Some reguar guy just like you and me was tinkering around trying to build a better mousetrap er buzzbait.  He came up with the Cavitron.  Tournament pros, started throwing it and winning.   He was doing fine, then one of the big boys came along and showed him check with lot's of zero's on it.

He sold the company and is living large.

Only in America.

The Cavitron Buzzbait was designed by Bassmaster Tour Pro, Lee Bailey Jr.

Lee is sponsored by MegaStrike and a year or two ago Bobby (owner of Megastrike)

bought Cavitron from Lee.
