aceman387 Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 i have a wife who ventures out in the boat with me once in awhile (wanna screw up your concentration while your hunting a trophy largemouth bring your wife along and make sure she brings her cellphone along so her daughters can call every 15min to chit chat l) i know what you guys are thinking speak up be a man ,heres the problem her other recent hobby she took up is archery , bowhunting to be exact my 7ft medium shimano crucial rod is know match for a mathews bow complete with raczor broadheads , ive seen her grouping these arrows on her target frankly its frieghting in the past i never did the dishes or laundry even bother picking up my clothes arond the house , lately its changed im like a newborn nanny around here i even catch myself answering yes deer i mean yes dear,i even catch myself actualy listening when she talks to me , back when i first met her a few years back she was a city girl never fished never hiked never had a tick on her ,hell , a couple years back she would have me pick up bags of corn on the way home so she could feed the pretty deer. now a couple years later she is asking what can we throw out of the freezer so we have room for venison huh! the other problem is fishing as all of us know can be an expensive hobby especialy when the bait monkey rears its ugly head but as you bowhunters no it is nothing compared to bowhunting ,my wifes bowhunting bait monkey appears to have a larger appetiite than my fishing bait monkey in other words my wifes new hobby is competing for the acemans savings, at this rate the dream of owning a loomis rod some day in the near future seems that a dream. what would you guys do? i gotta go she asked me to vacum the house , yes deer ii mean yes dear im gonna do it right now . mouseman 387, i mean aceman387 ( p. s. wed is her first daydeer hunting i will let you guys know how it went. ) Quote

mayassa Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Nice story, my wife will fish now and then and will pick out lures for me, but there is no joy on the hunting. She will shoot skeet and my handguns for fun. Quote
Olebiker Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 I would be really tickled if I could ever get my wife to do anything outdoors with me. You're a lucky guy. A little advice to a newbie if you don't mind. Please use capitalization in your posts. It makes them a lot easier to read. Quote
