wisturkeyhunter Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Give stuff 1 week in the fridge them throw them out is the standard in professional kitchens and a good guideline for your home. Quote
Olebiker Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 I would have thrown them out on 9/10. They are not my favorite vegetable. Quote
senko_77 Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 My GF's dad now considers me a man and trusts me with his "little princess", because the first time I ate dinner at her house, he served me 7 sprouts. I downed them so fast. There delicious. I later found out that every time Catie has a guy over for the first time, he serves them brussels sprouts. He said I was the only one who ate all of them and that I could date his daughter because I was a "man" LOL. I never knew people hated them so much, but according to her dad, they, "can bring a grown man to there knees" Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted September 23, 2008 Super User Posted September 23, 2008 I like pickled brussel sprouts. Recipe: 1 Brussel Sprout 1 cup vinegar 3 habanero peppers 3 cloves garlic 1 tsp salt 1 boiled egg Mix ingrediants together and bring to a slow boil. Let cool, and store in the fridge overnight. Then, eat the egg and throw away all other ingrediants. ;D ;D ;D Quote
Super User cart7t Posted September 23, 2008 Super User Posted September 23, 2008 Both the Brussels Sprouts and the container they're in need to be tossed in the trash. How do you eat something that smells like **** when it's cooking? Quote
Super User Muddy Posted September 23, 2008 Super User Posted September 23, 2008 What ever you decide , but a word of warning Make sure they are thourghly cooked and you chew them well Otherwise they are a , well lets say a pain in the butt on the way out. If you catch my meaning and you get my drift! :o Plus I hate when the water splashes up>>>YUCK Quote
