Super User burleytog Posted September 21, 2008 Super User Posted September 21, 2008 Ronnie Brown is running over, under, around and through the Patsies. 35-13 Oh yeah, and Brown even threw a TD pass. ;D Quote
IMPY03 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Best. Game. Ever. I HATE the Patriots. Quote
CRFisher Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Pats D and offensive line looked putrid, Moss looked disinterested, overall stinker for the Pats. They didn't look this bad since they lost to the Dolphins two years ago, but that was the game the Dolphins bought the audiotapes of Brady's audibles and knew what they were doing all game. No explanation for this egg. Ronnie Brown on my fantasy bench - ouch! :-[ > :'( Quote
rondef Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 A real disappointment for us Pats fans. There are no excuses, the Pats were out played in all aspects of the game. I give the Fins credit for bringing there 'A" game this week. Quote
njbasser Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Best. Game. Ever. I HATE the Patriots. x2 rondef, real Pats fans make excuses ;D Quote
Jake. Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 That game made my day. I wish I would have started Ronnie Brown on my fantasy team, but who could have seen that coming? Joey Porter backed up his big mouth big time. Quote
rondef Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 How can you make excuses when they were out played. There is no excuse for that! Quote
Super User burleytog Posted September 21, 2008 Super User Posted September 21, 2008 but that was the game the Dolphins bought the audiotapes of Brady's audibles and knew what they were doing all game. Quote
CRFisher Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Outplayed in every aspect of the game too. I expected Cassell to struggle at times, same with the secondary, but the O line, D line, and linebacking corps all laid eggs too. Buffalo barely beat the Raiders, AFC East looking weak. Quote
CRFisher Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 but that was the game the Dolphins bought the audiotapes of Brady's audibles and knew what they were doing all game. [/quote Yeah since they didn't tape it it was OK with the NFL, and all the ESPN talking heads said it was no big deal since everyone steals signals - my how opinions turned 9 months later. Quote
IMPY03 Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 I think stealing signals is part of the game and I really dont like it when people use it as an excuse to say "Oh thats why they won" thats just rediculous. I give the pats credit for last year, they were great even if they did steal signals. I'm just glad they lost the superbowl ;D Go Dolphins! Quote
CRFisher Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Definitely part of the game, I only mentioned it since it was the last regular season loss, and was also to the Dolphins. Pats looked putrid in both, but one at least you could put your finger on the reason and it had more to do with coaching, this game they were dominated on both sides of the ball. They looked like a Pop Warner team at times vs the Dolphins. Right now the Broncos look like the class of the AFC. Quote
Jake. Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Right now the Broncos look like the class of the AFC. I'm not sure about that. If it weren't for Hochuli's botched call and Gramatica's missed field goal, they would be sitting at 1-2. Good teams usually catch those kind of breaks though. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted September 22, 2008 Super User Posted September 22, 2008 Buffalo barely beat the Raiders, AFC East looking weak. Kinda like all most all of the wins the Pats had in 2001,2003,2004. 2007 was the only year they really dominated. The Bills won thats what counts, and once they stopped getting in there own way in the 4th qtr. actually handled the Raiders pretty good. Here are your top AFC teams: Buffalo 3-0 Denver 3-0 Tennesee 3-0 Who would have thought? Denver can score at will (can't stop any one, but can light it up), Tennesee plays great defense, can run the ball, and is well coached, QB is there biggest problem. Buffalo plays sound on both sides of the ball, has the best special teams in the NFL, is the least penilized team, and has a good young QB who makes few mistakes, and is learning how to win close games. New England, Indy, and San Deigo may very well be the 2nd or 3rd best teams in there own divisons this year, let alone the AFC. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted September 22, 2008 Super User Posted September 22, 2008 It's going to take Indy a while to find themselves. Hopefully they do so before they lose a few more games. Quote

fivesixone Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Best. Game. Ever. I HATE the Patriots. This game was friggin' amazing! Ronnie Brown is THE MAN. I knew he had it in him. Miami Dolphins, two 100 yard rushers, against the Pats! Those direct snaps to Ronnie were awesome, and the Dolphins actually look like they can pull off some offense with some good playcalling. The 'phins were actually entertaining for once! Looks like Parcells finally got this team to clique. All I can say is I hope they keep it comin'! Quote
llPa1nll Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 I find it funny that out of every game that was played yesterday that this is the only game that has a thread about it. Miami played a great game and the Patriots Defense came out flat as flat can be. Kudos to the Dolphins for playing a great game. Its funny to see all the Patriots Haters out in full force. Quote
