Flowers and a card go along way.  Thats what I usually do. If she works, have them sent to her work place. That usually gets a big smile.

I am with rondef on this one. A gift certificate is a good thing. Personally I would prefer one to bass pro but not all moms would like this.  ;D Another idea would be to give her a 50 dollar gift certificate to one of her favorite restaurants. Then she does not even have to cook on her birthday.  :)

The good thing about this is when your mom receives the flowers and card in front of her co workers (mostly women co workers) will tell her how thoughtful her child is and it will make her twice as happy, trust me. Plus if shes having a bad work day this would for sure cheer her up  ;).

No matter what you get your Mom, she will love it, because you took the time out to let her know you love her on her birthday. I think it is more personal to actually get something other than a gift certificate, but then again a mom answered you and said she would like such a gift.

Gift certificates sound good, but they lack a personal touch.

Spa?  nice thought but 50 bucks doesn't go far at a beauty spa.

why not call her sister, or one of her girlfriends.  They would no doubt have a good suggestion.

Or just get the Shimano.

Here is another good idea. Get one of those digital picture frames and load it with a bunch of pictures of your family.

Whatever you do.......

DO NOT FORGET A CARD!!!!

When i was younger,i would treat my mom dinner and take her out to the movie, zoo or museum. You'd be surprise how well that works too. Many teens don't spend much time with their parents and when i did it that way my mom loved it.

Whatever you choose to do your mom will love it because you are being thoughtful to her.Best gift any parent could ask for.
