done Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Alright, I do not LIVE for this game, but as something to do when the kids are in bed and it is raining too much to fish, I recently went out and grabbed "In Fisherman - Freshwater Trophies" and installed it. To my surprise, it is actually pretty fun. They also have some half decent pro-tips in there that you can apply to real fishing. The real bad part is, I get so used to using the boats in there that you end up disappointed when you get back to your own. Anyone else have a PC game like that they have ever played and have the guts to admit they like. Quote
guitarkid Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 That is my rainy day fishing right there, except I usually go for lake trout and musky instead of bass. By the way, I am glad I am not the only one who plays that. -tumnus Quote

Super User fourbizz Posted September 6, 2008 Super User Posted September 6, 2008 "Raining too much to fish"????? WTH? Thats the best time to be fishing right there. 40 degrees, shivering cold, line looks like a slinky, crawling a swimbait at .0004 MPH when all of a sudden........THDUNK! other than that peaseyX2 lmao Quote
done Posted September 6, 2008 Author Posted September 6, 2008 "Raining too much to fish"????? WTH?" I was waiting for someone to say that. I am still waiting to thaw out from when I went mountain trout fishing In January. It was fun though. It was about 2 degrees out and I had to keep breaking ice off my rod. I did catch some nice trout though and they REALLY made me work for it. Quote
guitarkid Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 I live right by the pond that I fish the most, I agree that rain fishing is great, but when I am with my little brother, or I can't even cast straight because of wind it does get pointless. -tumnus Quote
