It all depends upon when I'm going, where I'm going, and how long the trip will be.  Also, I try to use proper English when I post on this site.  The last thing I want is for anyone to think I am ignorant, or even worse, lazy.

I'm not sure why, but for some reason I tend to upset some people. I wonder why that is?

Shawn, think of Long Mike as a Microsoft Spell Check v1.0 ;)

I'd like to see what RW takes on a trip. Probably live baite( ::)), a Shimano teamed up with a Loomis, a few dozen shiners, a pack of cigarettes and Budweiser.

Have you looked in the mirror lately?

For me, I first look at how many are in the boat.  I don't tournament fish so I could have myself, two, or possibly three in the boat.  Myself, anything but the kitchen sink.  If there is two people, even if it's my boat, I'll bring what I think I'll get by with without impeding myself or the next person. If there's three in my boat, it's just for fun and I won't bring any more than 2 rods and a small tackle box.  At this point it's just for fun.

Life's do d**n short to be critical on an "everything else" forum on a fishing site, whether you start a post or reply to it.

Gandalf told me that I am not allowed to look into a mirror, because my great beauty would be forfeit, and I will turn to dust.  It sure is a bitsh trying to shave these days.

Life is too d**n short to not strive for grammatical perfection.

You get used to it after a couple of years.  ;)

and no,....there is no patch or upgrade, we just run him as is :)

Some get used to him, some don't.  Either way, the world is  a more literate place with him than without. (More literate? lol)  All yours Mike

But back to the tackle.  I keep everything on the boat.  Couple plano's for when the wakes aren't working. I only throw 2 or 3 baits anymore so tackle storage is kind of irrelevant.

My main storage is at home in the tackle closet.  I will take what I need for the day from there but haven't had to in awhile.

Mike since America has no official language it's hard for Americans to understand the English language.

i bring everything i own.  which isnt much.  currently i have two combos, both BC's.  and my box.  which is a small tackle bag that carries one plano box with hard baits and a big pile of soft plastics.  plus the scale, pliers, camera, etc etc.  actually, right now i only bring one combo cuz a guide broke of my other one, so it is out of comission.

Mike, I apologize if I came off as a jerk.  Whether you care or not, I respect the fact that you care about proper english, and I respect your opinions.  Your truthfullness and your wit has made me laugh more than you could know.  Several times it's even made my day after having a bad one.

I was only thinking that for a new user, they might feel debased and lose interest in a class A forum like this.

I'll go lay by my dish now. :)

A small gander mountain bag with 4 3600 boxes,1 spinning set-up and 1 baitcasting setup and finally a worm binder for my plastics.

Sometimes i'll bring an extra baitcasting set-up for cranks and jerkbaits if i plan to throw them that day.
