avid Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Hurricanes and tropical storms are strange and dangerous events. Ike went from a troubling tropical storm to a category 4 behemoth hurricane in a matter of hours. It's still pretty far east of the US but the forecast track has it aiming for my front door. September in paradise. Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted September 4, 2008 Super User Posted September 4, 2008 On the bright side, this series of storms should end the drought! 8-) Quote

Super User fishfordollars Posted September 4, 2008 Super User Posted September 4, 2008 If it gets into the Gulf, let me know. We can put up a few for a few days. That is unless it sets sail for us. If so, I'll be on the move too. Quote
BUCKEYEone Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 It sounds like I'll be speaking with you all in about 3 weeks (unless you are one of those who stick behind to meet ol' Ike!) Quote
