Jake P Posted August 22, 2008 Author Posted August 22, 2008 I like Sweet Baby Ray's but I LOVE Stubb's, especially the Moppin' Sauce. www.ilovestubbs.com Finally, someone who likes Stubbs. My favorite too. BUT, I am willing to try te SBR. Where do I get it? You can get it at Wal Mart. I suggest buying the gallon jug, after 1 taste you will be glad you did. Quote
IDbasser Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Thanks, I will check it out next time I am at Wal-Mart. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted August 23, 2008 Super User Posted August 23, 2008 I fart in the general direction of all the junk mentioned in this thread. All you need is * 1 cup white vinegar * 1 cup cider vinegar * 1 tablespoon brown sugar * 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper * 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce * 1 teaspoon salt * 1 teaspoon ground black pepper Quote
jeremyt Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Burley, Being from NC I love a vinegar based BBQ sauce on chopped pork. Best thing ever to me, but I figured most of the people on here, especially not from the Carolinas and VA wouldn't have a clue thats why I spoke of the sugar based sauce. Nothing like a good BBQ sammich with some coleslaw on it add a little texas pete and I am out for the count. ;D Quote
Super User Dan: Posted August 23, 2008 Super User Posted August 23, 2008 I am from Virginia but I have to say I much prefer sweet sauces to vinegar Quote

Super User Catt Posted August 24, 2008 Super User Posted August 24, 2008 If you want to kick it up a notch add a couple ounces of Wishbone's Italian Salad Dressing to you favorite BBQ sauce C'est Si Bon (It's So Good) Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted August 24, 2008 Super User Posted August 24, 2008 Well, I can't comment about you folks out East, but if the slop called Bar-B-Q that was served at Guntersville Lodge on the last BR fishing trip is any indicator, you have my condolences. Wayne seemed to enjoy it though, but then, he's a Yankee. What do they know about good food? ;D ;D ;D Quote
