Olebiker Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 I remember my next door neighbor in Louisville telling me that he had gone with the Boy Scouts to Bernheim Forest where they went up in the far tar. After asking him to repeat it several times I finally asked him to write down what he was trying to tell me. They had gone up in the fire tower. The funny thing about it is that I had just moved to Louisville from Sunfish, Kentucky (you can look it up) and I thought I talked country. Quote

The funny thing about it is that I had just moved to Louisville from Sunfish, Kentucky (you can look it up) and I thought I talked country. I read a roadside sign in East Texas once that read, "FARWOULD FOR SALE". No kidding. One I'll always remember was found a little farther up the road on the front fence of a ranch: "BEAFMASTER BULLS FOR SALE". Good Lord, people, don't you proof-read anything before painting it on a sign! :-? I'm actually proud that Texas fell out of the top ten obese states. I think we've been there for some time. Maybe all the heat this summer sweated it out of us. Quote
fish-fighting-illini Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 When I first read the tittle I thought FFI, LBH and Muddy were going to have to dust off the old blue suits with the pretty brass buttons! Is it just me or did anyone happen to notice that the obese group only had 1 poss 2 states that were associated with being stuck indoors in the winter? All but one of the " normal weight " states was a heavy winter state except one. That seems 180 deg's backwards compared to what you'd think would be a theory ??????hmmmmm Quote

It's too blazing hot to go outside so we sit around eating pork rinds and posting to BR. Quote
