Olebiker Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 My favorite is a white 1/2 oz willowleaf spinnerbait. My most effective one is an Aruku Shad. I have one tied on a rod constantly. Quote
Pencil Pusher Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Spinner bait, usually blue and chartreuse or blue/white/charteuse. Quote
Hooked_On_Bass Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Spinnerbait! (Colour depends on conditions) Quote
Jake. Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Usually a crankbait, except around gunky weeds. For that I will use a spinnerbait. Quote
wisturkeyhunter Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Usually a spinnerbait but if I really am having trouble getting a hit I fish soft plastics slow. Quote
Rattlinrogue Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 During spring and early summer,I like a white spinnerbait w/ a gold willowleaf blade over a smaller chrome Colorado blade. In the late summer and fall I go with a shad crankbait.Winter is for jigs and trailers and/or Carolina rigs. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted May 29, 2008 Super User Posted May 29, 2008 anything from the rapala DT line in a shad-like color. Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted May 29, 2008 Super User Posted May 29, 2008 I have no favorite. Lures are tools. I never decide what I am going to fish until I get to the lake and check out the water and weather conditions. I am just as likely to throw a crank, plastic, or jig as I am anything. Just depends on the conditions. Quote
Super User South FLA Posted May 31, 2008 Super User Posted May 31, 2008 Depending on conditions 1. Spinnerbait 2. Lipless crankbait 3. Buzz Bait/Swimming Frog Quote
Shakes Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Xcalibur XR-50 lipless crankbait in Black/Chrome Quote
