Super User Hookemdown. Posted August 3, 2008 Super User Posted August 3, 2008 This is our year. I'll see you in the Championship game, if you can get there. 8-) Quote
daviscw Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 It couldn't come sooner Catt. We are predicted to bring it home again. 4 for Moore!! Quote
fishbear Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 GO PAC 10. Unless you are a Cali. team, then who cares! ;D ;D ;D Quote
Aaron Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 I am pumped. A few years ago I never watched college football except for the bowl games, but the past couple seasons have really opened my eyes to what I was missing. Now I look forward to college football more than I do the NFL, at least until my Raiders get it turned around. Quote
Hookem Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 As soon as my season tixs arrive, I'll be all . | | | | | | V Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted August 4, 2008 Super User Posted August 4, 2008 I need backup :-/ Quote
Super User Sam Posted August 4, 2008 Super User Posted August 4, 2008 Can't wait. There are some good early season games, too. With Georgia going 7-5 so far (7 arrests and 5 suspensions) and no seasoned backups to their first stringers, it will be interersting to see how the Dawgs do with their brutal schedule. And the Ole Ball Coach owes Miles and the LSU Fighting Tigers one for making him look like a fool in Baton Rouge last year. I still laugh when I think of that beautiful fake field goal that resulted in a touchdown. As for the Bama boys, anything other than a 13-0 season; a berth in the BCS Championship game; and winning the National Championsip will result in another disastrous season. So Bamb Boys, get ready for another disastrous season. Now those Buckeyes, the early contest against Southern Cal will put either team in the driver's seat for the BCS title game. I know the Buckeyes need the win to prove that they are National Championship calibur. But if they play another SEC team they could be 0-3 and the joke of the NCAA. As for Tulane, I hope the Green Wennies show up for their games. And remember, the biggest play in the history of Ole Miss football and Eli falls on his ***. ;D Quote
Super User Sam Posted August 4, 2008 Super User Posted August 4, 2008 I forgot those Longhorns. Let's all cheer, "Wiskey bottles, cigeratte butts, we got Texas by their.....horns." Quote
RWHusker. Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 My 2008 media guide arrived today. That means season tix in the next few days. As always GO BIG RED. And btw I would like to personally thank the LSU guys for being good enough to sending us Pelini. Quote
GitRDoneIke23 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Husker, My dad's a big Nebraska fan! He jumped on the band wagon back in the Osborne days. How big is that bass in your picture? -Ike Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted August 4, 2008 Super User Posted August 4, 2008 Heck yea. I've been ready since May. Let's get it on! ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted August 4, 2008 Super User Posted August 4, 2008 BOOMER SOONER!!! (It really feels good so say it again) Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted August 4, 2008 Super User Posted August 4, 2008 Go Dawgs!!!!!!! The good thing is that most of the dummies that got in trouble over the summer will only be suspended for the first game against Georgia Southern. But don't underestimate the unseasoned kids. Georgia is deep with talent this year. It's exciting. Quote

They drilled us last year ending a 30 something winning streak in Boone. Quote
RWHusker. Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 How big is that bass in your picture? 7.5lbs but very good photography. Go Big Red Quote
Super User Sam Posted August 5, 2008 Super User Posted August 5, 2008 Bo Pelini is excellent. He will produce some great players and bring the Cornhuskers back to glory. But first, he has to defeat Virginia Tech. Quote
Super User Sam Posted August 5, 2008 Super User Posted August 5, 2008 Daviscs, Heading to Baton Rouge for the opener? Nothing like a game in Tiger Stadium. Of course, there is nothing like Boone, either. Great town. We stayed in a B&B for a friend's son's wedding and had a wonderful time. Fun shops and good resturants. And the people were friendly, too. Should be a fun first quarter. Quote
RiskKid. Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 My tics to ROCKY TOP showed up today....can't wait......GO VOLS!!!! Quote
Super User burleytog Posted August 5, 2008 Super User Posted August 5, 2008 My tics to ROCKY TOP showed up today....can't wait......GO VOLS!!!! Which games are you going to? Going to try to hit the UAB game. Everything else is either too rich for me or taking place on a hunting weekend. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted August 5, 2008 Super User Posted August 5, 2008 What am I to do? I was born in Arkansas and have family there. Should I be a Razorback fan? However, I grew up in Louisiana and have a nephew who is a member of the LSU Marching Band. Should I be an LSU fan? On the other hand, I have lived in Tulsa for the last twenty-two years. Should I be an OU, OSU or a TU fan? Decisions, Decisions. Quote
