little_stephen Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 So, heres an interesting thought, i was at the lake the other day, and i was just looking at the differnet types of cars and trucks that were parked in the parking lot..... plenty of trucks, a few jeeps, many with trailers. some cars, and then there was my little stationwagon...... it kinda stook out. but you know what, i dnt care, im proud of my little car. because when the guys at my small local lake see it pull in they know a friend has arived. So that got me thinking..... whats your bass-mobile!? lets see 'em.... and try to keep the egos on the downlow...... im just cruious to see who takes what to the lake! sadly, my bass-mobile got the windshield smashd up and a nice dented hood by a really nasty storm! hail bigger than golf balls...... very sad! So there she is, my baby...... 1994 Ford Escort Station Wagon. shes got over 180,000 miles on her and she still hauls a**! Love my car! plus plenty of room for my gear and lots of roof space for my impending cannoe or kyack purchase..... Quote
zellamander Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 This is my baby. Some of the boat ramps we use for tourny's around here, i'm glad that i have her! 2 weeks ago i had to pull a ford tourus back up the boat ramp.... Quote
tipptruck1 Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Heres mine. It can do 0-60 in 5.5. Top speed of 160. Running 20lbs of boost. It gets over 35mpg on highway. It still has a room to haul my 6 rods and a 60lb tackle bag. Quote

Aaron Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Here's my truck. I bought the topper in the spring as prepararation for a summer roadtrip and have grown to like so I am going to get it painted this fall. Quote
BucketmouthAngler13 Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 I picture says a thousand words. Earphones while riding a bicycle? Yeah. I get 20 miles to the premium sandwich. But I found that with headphones and music, my MPS (miles per sandwich) increased to 22, even uphill and into wind. I no longer have to empty my pockets at the deli. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted July 30, 2008 Super User Posted July 30, 2008 You do realize that wearing those while on the road is quite dangerous and most likely illegal. Quote
BucketmouthAngler13 Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 You do realize that wearing those while on the road is quite dangerous and most likely illegal. I usually ride with one ear open. In bad traffic I listen to it on a very low level of volume. There is no law in NJ about driving a vehicle with headphones that I am aware of. (and I checked the laws about a month ago) I have however been pulled over for riding with no hands on the handlebars, which is illegal in NJ. Quote
