Aaron Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Has anyone seen this yet? I am pumped about. I'm going Saturday to see it in IMAX. Quote
cpvenom Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 I'm going to see it in a few hours. I have been waiting all summer for it, and from what I have heard, it is well worth the wait. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted July 18, 2008 Super User Posted July 18, 2008 Woo-hoo! Headed to the early show shortly. ;D Quote
Brian_Reeves Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Watched it yesterday. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Better than batman begins. Quote
brgbassmaster Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 awesome movie watched it last night go see it. Quote
Super User Sam Posted July 19, 2008 Super User Posted July 19, 2008 Everyone I spoke with said it is the best Batman movie out so far. I love the line in the trailer when The Joker is telling a punk that the crooks need to be improved in the city. Let us know how you all liked it. Quote
cpvenom Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Saw it last night, and I was amazed. This could very well turn out to be the best movie of the year. Ledger's joker was incredible, one of the best villains in recent memory. Despite having a long runtime (2 hours 30 minutes), the movie never looses pace and keeps the audience's interest throughout. There are also some parts that will make you laugh a good bit (Joker's magic trick with the pencil was classic). What I'm trying to say here is, if you are not out fishing, you should be out watching this movie! Quote
Aaron Posted July 20, 2008 Author Posted July 20, 2008 I saw it today and it was AMAZING. I got to see it in IMAX on a 6 story screen. They had to warn us about motion sickness before the movie. Quote
billbrum Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 I got to see the midnight debut and I thought it was AMAZING. One of the best movies I have ever seen. Quote
Brian_Reeves Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 I might go see it again. People applauded at the end of the movie and one a few scenes throughout. I've NEVER been in a theater watching a movie where people did that. Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted July 20, 2008 Super User Posted July 20, 2008 I guess I'll have to refinance the house and go to the theatre. I hope it's as good as everyone is hyping it up to be. By the way, it is currently #1 on IMDB's top 250 list. Quote
Ky_Lake_Dude Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 I so wanna go see this movie. From the people who have seen it do i need to watch Batman Begins before i see this or is it a new storyline? Quote
Brian_Reeves Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 I'd watch batman begins simply because it is awesome. But you can follow the storyline of The Dark Knight well enough without watching the first one. Quote
rondef Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 I went fishing this morning and I am leaving in a few minutes to go see this movie. I just got back, what an awesome movie. This is one of the best movies I have seen and I can hardly wait to buy the DVD when it is released. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted July 21, 2008 Super User Posted July 21, 2008 This is a great movie and well worth the money! ;D ;D ;D Quote
Super User burleytog Posted July 21, 2008 Super User Posted July 21, 2008 I liked Begins a bit better. That said, it wasn't bad. Quote
wagn Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Just saw it yesterday. Amazing. Not just one of the top action or comic book movies I have seen but one of the best movies I have seen ever. I'm going to go back and see it again in the theatre. I can't think of any movie that I have ever wanted to go back and watch and not just wait for the DVD to come out. People also applauded at the theatre that I was at Quote
fishingaddict Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Just came back from it, and I have to say it's probably one of the best movies I have seen let alone blockbuster of the summer. The acting was stupendous and the action was bar none. I don't usually buy movies when they come out on dvd, I just rent them but, I will have to make an exception for this one. Quote
Super User .RM. Posted July 22, 2008 Super User Posted July 22, 2008 Haven't seen the Dark Night yet Only one question...Does Gordon tell you who the next villain is at the end like Begins did? Quote
fishingaddict Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Haven't seen the Dark Night yet Only one question...Does Gordon tell you who the next villain is at the end like Begins did? Nope, there isn't any evidence of who the next villain is Quote
Super User burleytog Posted July 22, 2008 Super User Posted July 22, 2008 Are there plans for another movie? Bale is contracted for two more, Nolan one more. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted July 22, 2008 Super User Posted July 22, 2008 Saw it this weekend. it was great. In the movie, they hint that the Joker will be a continuing villain, neither him nor Batman willing to kill each other, but obviously that may not pan out because of Ledger's death. Me and a friend were trying to remember other Batman villains and could only come up with Bane, The Riddler, Mr Freeze, and the Penguin. Quote
bassripper2000 Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 The movie has to be one of the best this year for sure. It was AWESOME.... I think Batman's love interest should have been way hotter. Quote
