Wii while at lunch today. I can't wait to get this thing home and play it. Does anyone else have a Wii? What are the best games for it?

wii sports, the bowling, the pool, and the tennis. The tennis is particularly good.

The Wii sports is by far my favorite game.  My wife actually bowled a 300.  I've been close before but Momma made me proud.  The tennis is also sweet.  You will enjoy.

I've toyed with the notion of getting one, but I already spend too much time in the house.

Well, that and I've only seen three of the things in a store.

I got lucky when I went to Wal-Mart yesterday at lunch. I went to get some stuff for the boat for this weekends fishing tournament and decided to go by the electronics department and saw they had some in stock and decided to buy one. The guy said they just got them in stock that morning and that they will probably be sold out by 5pm the same day. So far it is pretty sweet. I really want to get some of the older games for snes and nes.

As mentioned Wii Sports is a fun "family" game. Super Smash Brothers Brawl is also a good game. I have not played Metroid Prime 3 yet but it is supposed to be a very good game. Wii Fit and the Balance Board also look promising.

Virtual Console is the best. I have a bunch of Mario and Sonic games down loaded so far and I have an NES and a Genesis. Super Mario Brothers 2 The Lost Levels (Japanese version of Super Mario 2) has to be one of the hardest games ever!

Also I would highly recommend the Nyko recharge station for your Wii-motes. Just set the Wii-motes on the charger base and never worry about dead batteries again.

I bit the bullet last night myself.  Had to stop by a Wal Mart on my way home for some padded mailers (local WM was out), swung through the electronics section looking for a DVD, happened to see a stack of Wii's in the case.

Took about 20 minutes to make that decision...

Been screwing around with the wireless connection for the last two hours.
