Super User Hookemdown. Posted July 6, 2008 Super User Posted July 6, 2008 I prefer stabbing instead of shooting....just me. I didn't think UPS still offered that kind of training Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted July 6, 2008 Super User Posted July 6, 2008 No crime in Canada? Crime is everywhere, even around our friends in Canada. I know how you guys feel about boat ramps during the night. You just never know... It's like yall said, "It's better to have have a gun and not need it than to need it and not have it. Quote

paangler3117 Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 I always carry my pistol to the ramp and in the boat. I always feel I'll need it more for some rabid skunk or such, but you just never know! Jim Quote
CJ Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Nope, never have. Sometimes I wish I had something for them GPS pirates though! : Quote
BadKarma42 Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Anymore, I am carrying when I leave the house. That includes on the boat. Quote
Aaron Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 I have my carry permit but hardly ever carry. I usually have one in my truck though. I used to work with a guy that brailed on KY lake and he said he kept an SKS with a 30 rd magazine on his boat. He was feuding with a guy about spots and got in a pretty heated argument, so he started keeping it onbaord for intimidation purposes. Seems a little extremeto me, but to each his own. Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Usually I dont except Night fishing I do. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted July 7, 2008 Super User Posted July 7, 2008 Anymore, I am carrying when I leave the house. That includes on the boat. See, partner has one and that's why I dont have to LOL Hmm, this thread reminds me that I need to renew my permit.... Quote
wagn Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 i'm actually going to be getting a permit to carry since i fish so often alone at night at boat ramps, and recently had a very scary experience at a ramp recently. Quote
