The worst thing about fishing on 4 July

You get so used to the booms and flashes of the fireworks you can't tell when it is actually lightning.

The boats that go stealth and don't have any lights on.

There was one other boat on the lake last night, I thought I heard someone casting, couldn't see them till they turned on a headlamp.

Can't say much as the only light I had on was my blacklight.  :-[

That so many of our young people are overseas and can't go fishing, or be with their families and friends.

  I always avoid the holiday weekend because of the crowds. I would have figured boats all over the place. Maybe as it was night though everyone was home plus the fireworks.
