Big T Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 The 1980's revisited I grew upwatching Bird play. I hated the Lakers in the 80's, then started following them after Bird retired. I can not stand Kobe so , I think I may have to pull for Boston. Quote
Chad. Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Kobe is the next best thing to jordan, he's amazing he takes lakers on another level which boston can't compete at and i'm a boston fan. I want boston to win! Quote
Super User Marty Posted May 31, 2008 Super User Posted May 31, 2008 I'm not a Kobe or a Lakers fan, but I think they're the better team. Quote
Ky_Lake_Dude Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Kobe is this eras Michael Jordan and I think he will lead the Lakers for the championship win in 6 games Quote
Super User burleytog Posted June 1, 2008 Super User Posted June 1, 2008 If only it were possible for both teams to lose. Quote
Still a Bigbuckifan Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 I say Lakers in 6 They have way to much kobe. Need i say more Quote
fishbear Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 If only it were possible for both teams to lose. Took the words out of my mouth. However, since one has to win... going with the luck of the Irish.... Hate the Lakers... Kobe is a spoiled brat, who thinks the world needs to bow down and kiss his a$$. Can not wait.. 2 yrs. Then Oden, Roy and company can take them out to the wood shed and give them a whooping. Quote
key chain bass guy Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Celtics in 7. All home wins. As a matter of fact why don't we just skip LA and play four in a row in Boston. Quote

rondef Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 LETS GO CELTICS!!! Paul Pierce certainly gave us a scare last night though. It was good to see him come back and hit that three pointer after being carried off the court. One down three to go. Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted June 6, 2008 Super User Posted June 6, 2008 I'll change my prediction. LA in 5 8-) Quote
Yakfish Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Kobe is the Jordan of today but he ain't Jordan by a friggin long shot. I'm a transplanted NY fan and will wear my Yankee's hat anywhere but being surrounded by Beantown fans grows on you. They are the most loyal followers of their teams in the nation IMO. Go Celtics! XbassmasterX Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Kobe can never live up to where Jordon was with the allstar team in the 90's but with pau Gasol and Kobe out there it will be tough to beat it realy depends on who picks up the sack on the team other than the allstars like rondo or odom Quote
rondef Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 I may have to change my prediction to Celtics in 6 games. Go Celtics!!! Quote

Super User Catt Posted June 10, 2008 Super User Posted June 10, 2008 If the Lakers are down 2-0 it is mathematically impossible for them to win in 4 games since they would have to win 4 straight meaning they would have won in 6 games. Quote

I know that Catt, look at my previous posts. First I said LA in 6, they lost a game, so I said LA in 5 just to be funny. They lost another, so I said LA in 4. I am joking. Sheesh... Quote
