rfrazier Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Had all my stuff packed up in suburban, Dad woke up to a broken window and crap thrown all around the car. d**n Eugene meth addicts stole over 10 reels... 2 curados, fuego, citica, president, sahara, 3 NIB corvalus', 1 nib bionic reel, and some others. Almost sold half my reels last week too! My ipod and some other electric stuff among other things. I'm ticked! They left my rods and other stuff for the most part, havn't had time to ***** the damage. Final in 40 mins, but I had to vent. I'll be keeping my eye on craigslist.. > Quote
Jake P Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Wow, sorry to hear that. Hopefully your head is in the right place while taking your test :-/. Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted June 12, 2008 Super User Posted June 12, 2008 That sucks. Sorry to hear. The worst possession a tackle-nut can lose is their tackle. I hope you're able to recover some and/or insurance takescare of you. Bummer 'bought the window. The city of Eugene is a beautiful place, but the meth is definitley a problem. I was there a few years back, and in the middle of the day, I saw a meth-head having an argument with a bicycle. No kidding. He was shaking his fist, point his finger, and everything. It was at the quick-stop a few blocks down from the fairgrounds. That area is meth/smack central. Quote
daviscw Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Ohh man I'm sorry. I thought this was going to be a happy thread. Sorry for your losses though, it's extremely hard to trust anyone these days. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted June 12, 2008 Super User Posted June 12, 2008 That really sucks. Hopefully you have the receipts for insurance. Falcon Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted June 12, 2008 Super User Posted June 12, 2008 Sorry to hear that dude. I hate thieves so much. If it is any conselation maybe the low lifes that stole your goods will OD. Quote
rondef Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Sorry to hear, keep an eye on craigslist, ebay and pawnshops if you have any in the area. If you do have pawnshops in the area contact them and let them know to be on the look out for your stuff. They may help you catch the slimeballs that stole your stuff. Quote
BadKarma42 Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 That's really unfortunate. Hopefully you can recover. Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted June 13, 2008 Super User Posted June 13, 2008 That really sucks. Hope the auto insurance will replace most of it. Hope you had it all documented with the serial numbers. Quote
